Stayed for a night during our short trip to Chefchahouen, and the riad was absolutely perfect.
Check in was easy, they got some details and a photocopy of our passports and gave us our room keys. We even got a room upgrade to the Suite Fes (we had booked a smaller suite for the four of us), and the room was very comfortable and absolutely fabulous - beautifully decorated in every aspect, you could really see from the small details the thought that had gone into the decor. Our suite had a view of the street, which was pretty nice, and when the windows were closed you could really shut out the light and noise from the street.
Bathroom was small but clean, with a standing shower, good pressure and responsive hot water.
The weather was slightly cool, but the hotel had an AC/heater, which kept us quite comfortable.
The hotel was close enough to the main square and the kasbah, and easily walkable. A short walk down the street was the iconic street in Chefchahouen with the flower pots.
The upstairs terrace was great for breakfast and had a great view of town. Breakfast was a mix of local pastries, cereal and bread. There was also hot coffee and juice.
The staff were super friendly, even getting us to dress up in tradition Chefchahouen outfits and insisting on us taking photos in them.
Beautiful place, would definitely stay again!
