Robert,That truly means a lot to us. It's been a trying time here with the storm damage and trying to help the ones without power in the area. My staff have been doing double time to make all the rooms ready for those who need it. We hope all is well with you tonight and appreciate the kind words.

I have searched all of our Expedia reservations for a Michael who stayed with on the 17th. There was only a similar name of Mike. The room Mike stayed in was placed out of order on the 18th due to the next incoming guest informing us of the A/C not working.Two days following the storm yes, the internet was spotty. Since the 20th, it has been running smoothly. Flies fly in, when doors are opened, especially following a heavy rain here in East Texas. We have an abundant rotating supply of towels that are washed daily. Being sold out to families requiring extra towels, for multiple children and extended family members, tying to stay cool during this outage. It is possible your room hadn't been restocked yet. If you had asked we would have given you some as soon as they were dry and folded. This is the first I've heard of the coffee pot not working it was tested today with no malfunction. As for my staff looking like drug users, "Mike" checked in at 5:11pm by that time both of my employees had been cleaning rooms since 9am approximately 8 hours through a heat index of 107 degrees. Surely they were not powder fresh and squeaky clean. I am honestly proud of the fact that they continued working through the scorching heat, to get the rooms ready for the influx of guests with families without power that needed relief from the heat. Next time you have a problem at a hotel, it would benefit you and the hotel if you address it at the time you are there. Doing so helps to negate any situations of presumed neglect as you have expressed. We will continue to strive to meet our guest needs to the best of our ability as we can, as we hear of them. Hi Mary, Thank you for the time you took to give us a review. Since the time you have stayed we have ran a plumbing snake through at least two room drains. I hope it was one you stayed in. No one else other than those two guests have informed us of slow drainage. One side of our juice machine in the lobby does have an out of order. The side with apple juice has a part on back order to fix it. We do offer orange juice, coffee and milk in the mornings. Along with cereal, toast and waffles. It is a light continental breakfast that we offer here. If you ever end op having to stay with us again. Please let us know if you have any needs or are unhappy with the room we will try to accommodate you, even if it's just replacing a light bulb we were unaware of being out.

Thanks for the review Mr. Mark. I like the decor as well. I'd like to get some new furniture and artwork though. I will look into which room is missing a doorsweep and get that replaced. Thank you Sir and you have a great day.

Thank you for the review Jessica. We appreciate the feedback. We have just received some new towels, and new sheets are on back order. Everything gets washed so frequently it does stress the fabric some, we keep the best that we have for room rotation and pull the ones that don't meet quality/cleanliness standards to the best of our ability.
