This hotel made my first visit to Israel and Tel Aviv a great experience. I only needed something basic for work, but wanted something close to the beach with a potential view, and this was beyond my expectations. In general, the hotel was affordable, clean, the staff were always able to help with questions and requests, and it was a great location.
The rooftop was spectacular for getting a good view, and it was usually pretty quiet. I was often the only person up there enjoying the great view, and it was open all night long. The breakfast was amazing, and completely worth it. I had food restrictions, and still found it very easy to eat plenty at breakfast. They had a happy hour in the afternoons with wine and snacks, which was a nice surprise. The hotel loaned us bikes to ride down to Jaffa so that we could ride along the beach. Also, it’s along the street next to the ocean: we were set up at Hilton beach in less than a 5 min walk. The hotel is on the smaller side, which I personally liked. It doesn’t feel overrun or too cramped because of it. Also, if you are on the fence because the hotel does not have a pool, Gordon pool (a public salt water pool) is only a 5 minute walk away, right on the beach. Plus the beaches are great there, and I found myself not really wanting to be in a pool.
I would absolutely stay here again for my next visit.
