very old hotel
The hotel is very old. Lobby is good, but the room is very old. Enterring to the room has smoke smell. and also electronic curtain didn't work, need to wait for 30 mins and fix another 30 mins in order to move up curtain. faciloty in the room is very old .

Very good staff that is quite helpful. The rooms are very large. The room service from the on site restaurants is better than I expected. I would consider staying here again, however - as others have pointed out the hotel is out dated and the flooring is needing to be replaced.

Yeah! Would recommend to stay
Comfortable place! The hallway can be a bit spooky but the interior of the room is clean. The interior furniture is a bit old fashion but the room is spacious. Breakfast variety is extensive. If you are ordering food in, make sure you tell the driver where to meet you as the hotel has a couple of entrances. Will rebook for business if the price is right :)

Convenient area if you have business in Kuningan area and not to far to Plaza Senayan (Rp 25.000 using Bluebird). Breakfast was ok and overall all the staffs are very friendly

The main dining area and room service was awesome. Generally every area, including the room and gym was well kept supported by friendly staff. It allowed my short stay to be quite enjoyable. Encountered a lot of traffic on the roads outside, which is understandable, being in the city

Hotel needs some maintenance & cleaning.
Hotel needs some maintenance. I noted this in my check in review and the hotel claimed they addressed it with me but never reached out. I included some pictures of the mold around the sink, dirty shower stall, cracked wall paper, dirty AC vent, and the toilet flush the comes off. Hope this is a little clearer to the management. All of this is from my room.

Nice hotel, but service could have been better. They couldn't give us a room with one king size bed, so my wife and I ended up having two smaller beds which was the first in years. Also, the breakfast buffet didn't have many items suitable for vegetarians which was disappointing in this day and age. The employees in the breakfast buffet area should learn to speak better English and become more familiar with vegetarian foods.

Overall the hotel is nice however the breakfast was disappointing. Food selection mediocre, some foods are cold when it supposed to be warm and they only replenish everything once it was finished, not before that and guess have to wait in order to get the food. The service at the coffee house also very bad, feels like at 4 stars hotel rather than at 5 stars deluxe hotel.

Shocking experience!
The service at Gran Amelia was good. The shocking aspect of the stay was when I discovered an unauthorised payment was made from my credit card for a breakfast which the hotel forgot to charge me. As soon as I heard about the under charge, I emailed them to advise them to revise the invoice which did not include a 20% discount. When I received the revised invoice, I contacted Gran Melia to pay for the under charged breakfast, the duty manager advised me that they had debited my credit card without my prior authorisation! Technically, this action is illegal!
