This was our 4th time staying at Hovima La Pinta and although the location is perfect and the entertainment staff try their best to get people involved it's definitely lacking in staff where needed now. We previously stayed as all-inclusive guests but this year due to its location decided to go full-board as we're not big on drinking and like to eat out instead of buffet style meals and we are so glad we did! The food had the same choices available at lunch, as it was for your evening dinner! Cold, limited and processed. Such a shame, but the cutbacks are definitely showing this year. Be prepared to wait to be served drinks in the buffet restaurant, only once you've finished your meals due to the clear lack of staff which puts the pressure on the staff they do have. Overall some of the staff do try their best and go out their way to make your holiday such as Oliver from the bar couldn't do enough for you and Georgia from the entertainment team is exceptional, but some others are just rude! Would we return as a family of 4? Yes we would, but it would only be on a bed and breakfast option next time and our advice would be spend the difference on a room upgrade instead as your spoilt for choice outside the hotel for food and drinks much cheaper.

Struttura abbastanza grande Camera spaziosa ma con vista sul mare posteriore all'albergo, non sulla piscina come nelle foto sul sito Molto bello per i bambini e tanta attenzione anche dello staff senza essere fastidiosi Cucina internazionale buona soprattutto su carne e pesce. Non consiglio il ristorante alla carte: tranquillità, servizio e vista mare ma scelte molto limitate rispetto al buffet. A colazione c'erano delle fette di formaggio evidentemente avanzate dal buffet! Nel complesso però buon albergo. Non erano chiari i costi delle bevande e delle consumazioni a cena e al bar piscina

Hotel good for kids
The staff was very helpful and nice. We stayed at first floor and the sun never reached the balcony. Last 2 days we upgraded for the ground floor in front of the kids pool. That was a deal breaker and worth every penny. The breakfast area was noisy and food was ok. The location of the hotel is good. Short distance to Fañabe Beach. Kids club is excellent.

There was quite a bit of renovations going on which should have been highlighted by your booking information. Round the pool and apartments next door to be precise. Staff friendly and the food was fine. Music very loud around the pool! We were given an upgrade which was very nice and use of the specialty restaurant which I have to say was disappointing. Food was bland and dry would not have been happy if we had paid. Stick to the buffet it was good plenty of choice. Usual family entertainment. Been a few times enjoyed a few days break.

The staff was very polite and helpful. La Pinta offered a lovely selection for breakfast. The room that we stayed in, a superior room, had excellent beach view, was clean, and spacious for a family of five. The hotel offered a variety of kid and adult activities during the day and fun entertainment in the evenings. Definitely an excellent stay and enjoyable family vacation.

Fijne upgrade naar grote kamer met geweldig terras. Kamer 128. Een ding was onbegrijpelijk de kleine douche ruimte met een naar binnen draaiende deur. Draai deze draairichting om dat kost niet te veel en maakt de kamer zoveel beter. De ruimte in de slaapkamer is hiervoor voldoende.

Great week!
Had a great week in HOVIMA Beachfront in Feb 22. Pool was great and there were plenty of activities for the kids. Staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Very accommodating on a number of occasions. Was happy with the food too, enough variety and were able to swap dinner for lunch a couple of days. Super location also. Would go back next week!

We liked the clean room which included 2 bedrooms, 2 full batherooms, kitchen area, a dinning area and a living room. Strong water flow from shower heads. From some reason one of the bathroom had a sewer smell so the 4 of us used the 2nd room. The majority of the property is in lower levels from the reception area. It felt like too much concrete around us. Also, this property caters to babies and todler ages. Dinning area was very noisy at all times. we tried to have our meals during different hours but couldnt avoid the loud noise from screeming babies. The food at the dinning area was average. We could have been better off with eating lunch and dinner in one of the many sorrounding restaurants.

Sehr gut auf Kinder ausgerichtet. Das beste war definitiv die Animation. Essen was eher mässig. Zimmer sehr geräumig und komfortabel. Das Personal war stets freundlich und zuvorkommend. Würde es auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen.

La ubicación es excelente. La insonorización de la habitación es deficiente, en la que estuvimos se oían todos los carros de la limpieza y los equipajes pasar. Las bajantes de recogida de aguas también metían ruido. Las máquinas del café estuvieron estropeadas durante varios días.

A really nice hotel, perfect for kids, hotel was clean and tidy throughout, food was really good too, location is ideal right on the beach! Entertainment was good, staff are very welcoming and friendly! The only thing I would warn is that the pool area gets very slippy when wet our little one was constantly falling over! Overall though a really lovely hotel!

Lovely hotel on the beach and close to shops
Really nice stay once again. All staff really friendly, good food, room cleaned every day. Only one downside, lots of entertainment for kids but nothing for grown ups. Would definitely stay at La Pinta again.

Bell' albergone in riva al mare. A Playas de las Americas non è cosi scontato. gli alberghi sono tutti grandi ma cosi vicini al mare ce ne sono molto pochi. La struttura è bella e le camere con cucina molto comode. Le piscine molto belle, animazione ok. Noi eravamo in pensione completa e come spesso capita il buffet dopo un pò era sempre uguale. La pulizia delle camere poteva essere fatta meglio.

Très bien situé, personnel très aimable
Hotel bien situé, piscine chauffée, personnel efficace, chaleureux et disponible.buffets du petit déjeuner et dîner très complets et de qualité, sauf les jus de fruits et le café des machines, Indignes D un 4 étoile. Seul bémol, chambre propre et confortable mais mal isolée côté bruit. L hôtel va être rénové entièrement, ça devrait régler ce souci. Très bon rapport qualité prix tout de même.

We found the resort to be very busy with plenty to do. There are numerous boat trips, lots of sports activities for the young and many restaurants. Look carefully at menu prices and shop around. One restaurant at the front charged 11 euros for a starter, which was made up of 4 prawns with one avacado and a little salad. Nice beach with safe swimming and lifeguard in attendance. If you want to party and karaoke and sink cheap beer, then this is the place for you. Many Brits to keep you company

Hotel in good position but needs full refurb
Needs to close down for 3 months for a full refurbishment - very dated, cracked washbasin, cracked and damaged floor and wall tiles, several light switches in room not working, limited number of sockets. Tv was samsung but had a remote for a phillips tv - so didn't work. Despite it looking very tatty and shabby which tended to make it seem grubby and dirty we cannot fault the housekeeping staff who were all extremely pleasant and kept the hotel and rooms immaculately clean. We had asked for a sunny balcony (as husband is not well and needs regular rests)but got one that only had a couple of hours sun in the late afternoon. Also requested a sun bed for the balcony three times before one was provided and then only after three days. In general staff friendly and helpful in as far as they could be - did not seem to have much local knowledge about taxis, buses, trips etc.

Et rigtigt dejligt hotel med en høj service bl.a. med et venligst personalet og daglig rengøring af værelserne. Maden helt i top, meget varieret. Poolen utrolig dejlig, blot burde det ikke være tilladt at lægge håndklæder på solsengene uden at benytte dem. Også dejligt med kort afstand til havet, hvor der var masser af solsenge. Værelserne var godt indrettede og i pæn stand - skøn terrasse med havudsigt. Vi glæder os til et gensyn.

Su ubicación y amabiliad de su personal es único
El hotel está mejor de lo que esperaba para tener tantos años. Lo mejor de todo es su ubicación. La comida no está mal, quizás un poco más de variedad le vendría bien. Si vas a pasar una semana o menos no será demasiado problema. Por último, la amabilidad del personal es algo que doy por hecho en cualquier establecimiento, sin embargo en este es excepcional.... ¡¡de matricula de honor!!, tanto su equipo de servicio como el de restauración y especialmente el de animación.

Buonissima esperienza, sia per i servizi dell'hotel che per la posizione. Unica pecca una camera con una vista sul "retro" non proprio bella e sempre buia, mentre la quasi totalità delle altre camere aveva un'ottima vista. A mio avviso andrebbe informato il cliente sulla camera prima dell'acquisto, vista l'enorme disparità di condizioni. Piccoli malfunzionamenti (tv rotta, finestra difettosa, etc) comunque risolti nel giro di un'ora su mia segnalazione.

L'hotel La Pinta,posizione strategica,comodissimo ad un passo dal mare,e,essendo un apartohotel da la grande possibilita di scegliere il trattamento: solo pernottamento,solo colazione mezza o pensione completa;tutto cio' facilita sopratutto le famiglie.C'e' da dire che,avendo scelto la mezza pensione,abbiam trovato la qualita' del cibo scadente,presentata male e con un odore,quando si entra in sala,che non promette nulla di buono..la prima volta abbiam trovato questo problema solo se si sceglieva il pranzo,ma questa volta che abbiamo optato solo per la cena direi che la qualita' e la varieta' e' scaduta di molto...tornero' sicuramente in questa struttura perche' abbordabile come prezzo ma optero' per il solo pernottamento...il mangiare me lo faccio in appartamento...
