Nice Hotel off beaten path
I liked this hotel be was not by the town square. The room was comfortable and the breakfast good. The cappuccino was delicious. I enjoyed the persons at the front desk. They spoke English and were helpful. Also this hotel has an elevator for higher floors. Good deal!

Great location one block from the main shopping street. Orvieto is a beautiful town on top of a hill and its all accessible by foot. Taxi or furnicular train takes you down to the rail station. Many things to see here. The hotel does not have a pool or sauna. Nice rooms with quiet AC or heat.Very clean. Bathroom is small with a phone booth size shower stall, no tub in my room. I had a room with two twin beds.

The Hotel Valentino was an easy, but a little bit long walk from the sites in Orvieto. The room was simple, but comfortable. The staff was outstanding. I would book this again.

Die Lage vom Hotel ist in Zentrum mit viele Restaurants,Läden und Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Nähe. Ruhig, sauber und Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

This hotel was smoky, terrible breakfast, very uncomfortable bed and pillows. My husband was sore for days! The only good thing was the pretty marble floors.

The staff was very warm and accomodating. Great location to everything in Orvietto. I felt like home staying there.

Chegando a estação, atravesse a rua e compre o bilhete do funicular, que te levará até a parte mais alta da cidade. Lá na estação do funicular passe no ponto de informações turísticas e retire gratuitamente o seu mapa da cidade. Se não tiver, relaxe. Pode ir para a cidade a pé, mas o bilhete do Funicular vale por 90 minutos e com ele você pode pegar o ônibus. Para ir para o hotel prefira o ônibus 1 CC que vai do terminal de ônibus P. Cahen para a P. Repubblica. A 1ª parada fica depois da Protezione Civile Comune di Orvieto, descer na 2ª parada que é V. Roma, em frente à Casa Reclusione di Oriveto. Atenção, pois é muito perto. Atravesse a rua e siga pela contramão, logo à esquerda encontrará a rua do hotel. O hotel é bem charmoso, numa rua fofa, perto de tudo e tem elevador, O quarto é amplo, tem ar condicionado e wi-fi. Café da manhã muito bom. Andar em Orvieto é cruzar a linha do tempo para o passado. Amei!

good location; friendly staff.
evening staff speaks better English & was helpful. wifi was bad: worked in lobby but didn't work in room. AC works but weak. the shower stall is cramped typical of small Italian hotels and leaks through the doors. but hotel has a great location. if driving, call hotel for parking instructions. day staff showed me the garage (like a US house garage) across the street from the front door but it's inside a no entry zone. we were too tired to move the car from the parking garage at the opposite side of town. and didn't understand his answer on our ZTL question. not sure if there's a ZTL camera in Orvieto or not. overall, staff is friendly. recommendable.

Buena y amable atención, hotel limpio, cómodo, buen baño. Desayuno básico con pocos productos naturales. Wifi con alguna dificultad de conexión. Recomendable

Breakfast was adequate, staff spoke English, and the location was convenient to shops,restaurants, and the duomo. The place could really use some updates, though. Our room was dark and dated. Beware if you book a room for 3 people, as we did, that one of the beds is a Murphy bed (folds out of some kind of cabinet) and is not very comfortable.

Hotel semplice e gradevole a due passi dal centro
La posizione è favorevolissima, a pochi metri c'è un parcheggio (procurarsi una "tascata" di monetine) ottima soluzione per una città dove gli spazi sono ridotti, il silenzio è garantito, come pura la cortesia del personale, sufficiente la colazione, buona la pulizia e il confort. Ideale per visitare la meravigliosa cittadina. Imperdibile il Duomo, strepitoso con la luce rosa del tramonto!!!!!

Dated hotel for value price
This hotel is about 2 blocks from the Main Street in town, which makes it quite quiet. The hotel is outdated, but a decent value for the price. The breakfast was below average by European standards, but still decent. The staff wasn't particularly good at English, but we managed.

The hotel is in a wonderful location and the staff were friendly and helpful. It could perhaps do with updating and the breakfasts could perhaps have been a little better, but it was good value, so I have no complaints.

pleasant centrally located hotel, friendly staff
old fashioned and double room a bit small, strange triangular shower, but clean and well appointed, good breakfast, very friendly staff, centrally located. would stay again but really prefer accommodations with kitchen when travelling with kids.

Owner did not seem to know much about the area, could not give recommendations for dining etc... One bath towel, no hand towels or face towels The room was clean and breakfast was okay. The reason I would not recommend this hotel is mainly because you have to pay for hotel parking. If you are staying for a few days, this could really add up.

Quadruple room one flight above lift service. All good, great service, but shame about the shower hose in the bath... Just a little awkward. Absolutely loved Orvieto and enjoyed our stay at Hotel Valentino.

Albergo tranquillo in un centro storico medioevale
Arrivati ad Orvieto, abbiamo raggiunto il centro facilmente con la funicolare e trovato con una piacevole passeggiata l'albergo, dove abbiamo avuto accoglienza molto gentile. Ci e' stata data una camera ampia, anche se alla prenotazione avevamo chiesto una piu' piccola, ma per lo stesso prezzo. Siamo andati al Teatro comunale, molto vicino. E' stato comodo tornare in albergo quando volevamo, e la disponibilita' della stanza ci e' stata lasciata molto oltre l'ora ufficiale.

A good quality hotel, offering excellent value
Hotel Valentino was in the perfect location for my business and, being so close to Termini, offered the chance to see some of the wonderful city of Rome. Service was very friendly, rooms were very clean and food was nice and not-to-expensive.
