While this constraint explains the absence of air conditioning, it's important for potential guests to be aware that the rooms can become hot, particularly in the summer months.Regarding the service, it's unfortunate that you felt the staff had limited knowledge of the town. They lady checking you in lives more then 10 years in Delft and knows all the inns and outs of the city. However, it's still important for them to be knowledgeable and helpful to assist guests as much as possible. The oversight in forgetting a perk and compensating with only one bag of chips is disappointing. Additionally, the miscommunication about owing bottles of water when you hadn't received any is regrettable.On a positive note, it's great to hear that the hotel has a lovely lounge area and that the breakfast seemed nice. The issue of noise from the cleaning activities upstairs in the morning due to poor soundproofing is understandable given the limitations of a historical building. Het is ook fijn om te weten dat er geen lawaai van buitenaf is en dat het hotel daardoor rustig is. Het spijt me echter te horen dat de ontbijtruimte een beetje klein is en dat het hotel niet geschikt is voor mensen die slecht ter been zijn vanwege het ontbreken van een lift en de smalle treden op de trap. Dit kan zeker een nadeel zijn voor sommige gasten.
