It's nice to support smaller business. The only downside to here is there isn't free breakfast.

It was good but during our stay we had no curtain for the bathroom window. We were told we would get one but it never came so taking a shower was mildly uncomfortable even if we knew people weren't outside walking past our window.

My stay at this motel was nothing short of a catastrophe. It's astonishing how a place like this can still be in business. As I walked into the front desk, there was nobody in sight to greet me. Ringing the bell became an exercise in futility, and the second bell ring was met with blaring party music – as if they were throwing a bash while guests waited! On my third attempt with the bell, there was still no response. I finally gave in and called the front desk, only to be told by a lady that she was "away right now." The lack of professionalism was infuriating. But the true absurdity came when, without any prior warning or notice about assigned parking, the front desk woman came pounding on my door, loudly yelling that my friend had parked in the wrong spot. How on earth were we supposed to know about assigned parking if nobody bothered to inform us? The cherry on top was when they had the audacity to inform us the next day that we weren't welcomed back. It's as if they take pride in their incompetence and terrible customer service. Avoid this place like the plague. It's a complete disaster, and I wouldn't wish this experience on my worst enemy. Stay away unless you enjoy dealing with unprofessional staff and chaos at every turn.

Yes you are correct. You are absolutely not welcome here in the future. Apparently not only are you an extremely rude young lady you struggle with honesty as well. Life is long a superiority complex as large as yours for as young as you are will certainly set you up for failure in the future. You and your friends are not the clientele we strive for.

Best place to stay in Thermopolis
Cutest little motel ever! Check in was great and very friendly. The premises was clean along with our room. A very homey feeling place. Will definitely stay again!! A+++

Quiet and very clean motel with easy access to Thermopolis. Had everything we needed, but would suggest updates to the mattresses. Would recommend if you're in the area.

This was such a wonderful place to stay. I was concerned because the outside doesn't look like much. But it was one of the best places that we stayed at! Some wonderful things were that the bed was really comfortable (and I have a bad back) and I loved that we got real coffee cups and not Styrofoam. Overall a wonderful place in a great town to visit.

Cute cabin-themed rooms on very well kept property. Mostly anglers staying at the hotel, so it was cool to see them heading out for the day. We stayed one night and checked out the local attractions. As a woman with her young daughter, we felt safe. Parking was right outside our room door. Tabitha at the front office was very friendly at check in. A doe with two fawn even greeted us in the parking lot after we checked in :)

It was pretty nice there and the service was awesome! The only thing that we didn't like was the paper thin walls. Up until around 2:00 a.m., this woman in another room cackled well into the night. She laughed and laughed and it sound like a gaggle of geese were in that room. Every time I would almost fall asleep, she would start in again with her VERY LOUD laughing and carrying on. Didn't get much sleep so that was the downside.

Tired, That makes me super sad to hear that happened. I wish you would have either called or came and got me. That is not the kind of thing we like to hear. Over the last two years we have ripped out the walls between rooms and insulated them for that very reason. There is one room left we plan to finish this winter. I cant tell what room you stayed in as your post was anonymous but please feel free to call us or send us a message we would like to know what night you were here.We would love you to give us another chance.

Nice place, clean, easy check-in. Good location if you want some quiet at the end of night, it's at the edge of town with beautiful views of the mountains. The only improvement I can suggest is a new mattress, it's a little saggy. We'll definitely stay again if we're in the area.

Very old building and dirty. Carpets probably have not been cleaned since the beginning of time. Doors to all the rooms are very squeaky. Sink was dirty. Cigarette butts all over the place outside (very nasty). I would not recommend staying here unless you are desperate.

Debra!We are sorry to hear you feel this way. Are you sure you didn't stay somewhere else?! All the doors squeak I must ask as we do not at all allow our guests to open and close every door in the property how you obtained such knowledge. To our possible future clientele, please read our other reviews and feel free to come take a look at our property. Carpets have been replaced in all but 3 rooms and they are cleaned monthly. In addition not a cigarette to be found on our grounds. We are sorry you did not enjoy our place as much as the rest of the population! Please feel free to book elsewhere in the future.

First place I ever stayed at, that had both rear windows in the room UNLOCKED. Very dangerous for a traveling woman. Its a good thing that I always check ALL windows in the room to MAKE SURE THEY'RE LOCKED. The first time I was ever disappointed was at EL Rancho motel.

Oops! We live onsite and sleep with our windows open. We do have 0 crime but you as a single travelling woman should always check for safety. Many of our customers do sleep with windows open and we close and lock them when they check out. Thank you for the reminder!

This is the second time we stayed here this summer. The rooms are so clean, there is a small garden area with tables and chairs to sit outside and have your coffee in the morning. The rates are very affordable and the beds are comfortable.

Es war alles sauber und ordentlich, dass einzige was ich bemängeln habe, es waren keine Kleiderhaken vorhanden. Es gab in Zimmer 108 keine Möglichkeit seine eigenen Handtücher zum trocken auf zuhängen. Sehr freundliches Personal.

Great little place
The place is old but well maintained and clean. Person at check-in was kind enough to recommend the mineral baths nearby, she even offered to loan us extra towels. It was awesome!

Pleasantly surprised! Newly remodled, clean, nice updated decor. Perfect for us and nice open space for our dogs. Front desk check in was easy and lady was kind and welcoming. Would stay there again and highly recommend

Check-in was easy. Saw we had a large family and allowed us to stay in a bigger room that was being remodeled. That room is going to great when it’s finished.
