Needs a bit of updating but the area is remote and has had owner changes. Bed was comfortable rooms were roomy. Place is about 12 miles from Bullfrog Marina. No breakfast, but coffee always available and a toaster is there for use

They changed per night for electricity to charge a boat. I’m not happy we didn’t know about that in advance. Shame on them, and shame on Expedia.

We had a great stay at Ticaboo Lodge. Thomas at the front desk was especially helpful and knowledgeable about the area and sights to see. Definitely would stay again!

There was no one at the desk when I arrived at 8:30 PM. My keys were hanging up in a welcome packet. Easy access and a great room. Even a cup of coffee upon my departure. Wonderful. I would stay a week if I could.

The rooms are fine but no one is at the front desk. They have an onsite restaurant which would be handy in this rather remote area but it seems to rarely be open

Nice Stay, would return!
We were pleasantly surprised by the Lodge. Great check in experience, large clean room, comfy couch - it was nice to relax in after a days drive. The shower had great water pressure! Bed was a little on the soft side, but a nice quiet night. Only complaint was paying 25 cents for ice, not that that breaks the bank, but fortunately had change on me, usually don't!

We arrived late in the evening and our keys along with pool towels were waiting for us at the front desk. It was very clean, updated from the last time we stayed there and very convenient. We would definitely stay at Ticaboo again.

Great basecamp- for lake stay
Great place to stay to get out of the heat. Spent the day at the lake and enjoyed a/c and a great shower in the evening. Fridge worked great, comfortable bed and cold pool?

This was a convenient 4.5 hour drive from SLC for our pre/post night on Lake Powell, which was a short drive from the hotel. We enjoyed how quiet and secluded the hotel was. The rooms were large enough that the other adults in our party could gather in one room to play cards and board games. We knew the restaurant was closed, so we brought food to microwave for dinner and breakfast. The Anasazi restaurant at Bullfrog is open at night. Just know that and plan ahead. The pool is open from 10am-7pm, so plan your swim time accordingly. I got to enjoy it one evening and it was warm and clean. It would've been nice to have it open later as there isnt anything to do in the area at night. It was just what we needed for a place close to the lake that wasnt camping.

Shower curtains need a good wash and bleaching to get mildew smell out. Place was old but comfortable and beddings were clean. No idea how we were supposed to order food. There was no phone in the room and our cellphones had no service. Couldn’t use wifi calling either.

Rooms are outdated for the price you are paying. AC sounds like someone started the tractor. When check in to the room precious customer left the food in the drawers and housekeepers didn’t care to check all the drawers and didn’t even picked up left over dog food from the floor. Wish there were some more hotel choices.

This would have been a fun place to stay but there was no place to eat. The restaurant was closed, as was the gas station. The only place open was 20 minutes away and it was open for just 3 hours in the evening. If it would have been noted, we would have made other arrangements but it was not.

Good people!
The staff were great. There was a lot of dust and some trash under the beds. That was a bummer. One ice maker didn’t work. 24 hour coffee was a plus. Decaf coffee not working a minus. Air conditioner was good and rooms were quiet and dark. Really liked the xeriscape garden; that is a great walk. I’ve stayed there many times and will again.

Fun little get away
Super easy check in. Lots of parking for large trucks and trailers. UTV riding for hours around the area. Hotel was clean and welcoming
