The property itself is stunning, super quiet, beautifully maintained gardens, gorgeous views etc, but the rooms are different story. They falsely advertise double rooms as 32sq m, which is an absolute lie . Our room was barely 20 sqm. Awful beds & even worse cheap bedding linen. We had only 1 pillow each, when we asked for extra pillows the same person who works as a receptionist brought us extra two even more awful quality pillows. The room quality is a real shame otherwise would be fantastic relaxing hotel.

Lækkert hotel i dejligt område, dog kunne sengen være bedre, madrassen føltes som at ligge på en plasticpose, så man vågnede op våd af sved.

Was schade war Gäste die nicht Auto fahren können und in der Stadt selber, also Lugano was Essen möchten nicht gross die Moglikeit haben. Ausser mit dem Bus, der leider nur einmal in der Stunde fährt. Das Essen im Hotel war gut, Aber für meine Verhältnisse zu viel wie auch die Weinkarte zu teuer.

Schöne Lage des Hotels. Das Zimmer war jedoch gegen die Rückseite gerichtet und somit konnten wir die Aussicht vom Zimmer aus nicht so geniessen wie es auf den Bildern bei Ebookers dargestellt ist. Vorteile: Extrem freundliche Mitarbeiter am Empfang schöne Lage des Hotels sehr ruhig! hochwertiges Zimmer - die Möblierung sollte jedoch einmal ersetzt werden. tolles Badezimmer mit Regendusche toller Pool, welcher jedoch unbeheizt ist. Nachteile: - Wasser in Dusche - toller Pool, welcher jedoch unbeheizt ist. - keine Aussicht bei unserem Zimmer - eher kleines Zimmer.

Lovely property in a nice neighborhood above Lugano. Pricey but worth it. Hotel guests should be aware the photo of the structure overlooking the pool and Lake Lugano is not the hotel wing... those are private apartments. Hotel rooms are nice, but they don't have views. Anyway, our stay was perfectly pleasant.

Amazing hotel. Everything is top notch including facilities location and service. Perfect all around. If you can, I highly recommend upgrading to a jr suit with a view. Definitely worth the extra cost. Amazing pool area and beautiful grounds. We loved this hotel.

Das Restaurant war während meines Besuches geschlossen. Ausser dem Frühstück hat man keinerlei Speisen oder Getränke bekommen. Da keine anderen Restaurants in der Nähe liegen, musste ich mir eine Pizza per Lieferservice bringen lassen. Sehr unbefriedigend. Das Frühstück ist für ein 5 Sterne Hotel recht bescheiden und der Service beim Frühstück sehr schlecht. Ich wurde kein einziges mal gefragt ob ich einen Kaffee oder Eierspeisen haben möchte. Hierfür musste ich selbst in die Küche gehen und dort bestellen. Positiv ist die schöne Lage des Hotels, das klassische Gebäude & die gepflegte Parkanlage. Die Zimmer waren ebenfalls gross und ordentlich eingerichtet (auch wenn nicht so modern). Der Aussenpool mit Aussicht ist sehr beeindruckend. Für ein 5 Sterne Hotel mit entsprechend hohen Preisen ist Mangel an Speisen und Getränken (ausser Frühstück) sowie der fehlende Service jedoch nicht akzeptabel.

Das Hotel ist wunderschön gelegen mit einem riesigen Park. In etwa 15 Minuten erreicht man Lugano mit dem Auto. Die Zimmer sind gross und sauber. Sehr freundliche Bedienung. Einziger Kritikpunkt ist, dass das Frühstücksbuffet reichhaltiger sein könnte und man die Esswaren schöner und hygienischer präsentieten könnte. Leider waren die Gipferli überhaupt nicht frisch und mit dem Auffüllen der Esswaren sowie saubere Teller dauerten so seine Zeit. Ansonsten waren wir zufrieden mit dem Service.

Das Hotel ist sehr ruhig. Im Zimmer hört man weder die Nachbarn noch die Straße. Die Betten sind ausgesprochen bequem. Die Aussicht ist fantastisch. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist sehr gut, das Bircher Müsli hervorragend, ebenso der Cappuccino mit und ohne Laktose. Der Safe ist groß genug für einen 15" Laptop. Der Kühlrschrank wird jeden Tag neu mit Wasserflaschen befüllt.

Excellent séjour dans un cadre magnifique
L'hôtel se situe dans un cadre magnifique, le jardin, la piscine extérieure sont très agréables. C'est un réel un plaisir de déguster les plats du restaurant de l'hôtel. Un seul bémol les desserts que nous avons testés n'étaient pas au niveau du reste, de même que le pain et les viennoiseries. Le Petit déjeuner offre toutefois un large choix de mets et nous y avons trouvé notre bonheur. Et pour finir, tout le personnel avec lequel nous avons été en contact s'est montré aimable et serviable. Très bon service. Ceci nous amène a dire que nous reviendrons très volontiers séjourner au Resort Collina d'Oro.

Elegant and friendly hotel
We spent some few days in Tessin and our last hotel was the resort Colina d’Oro. The hotel is elegant and location is excellent. The gardens are beautiful and the scenery from the hotel breathtaking. Lots of walking possibilities. Too cold already to swim in the outdoor pool, but it looked also very nice. The room was very clean and the bed very comfortable. During our stay we received complimentary fruit and water, also a small kettle and coffee and tea were available. Breakfast was good with many different choices. The staff in the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The spa area was clean and although not very big, great to relax. The hotel offered a good strategy against coronavirus and plenty of possibilities to disinfect hands, etc. We felt very good and comfortable in the hotel, we are planning to go back again. Highly recommended.

Meer dan geweldig hotel
Dit is een geweldig hotel. Pas 7 jaar oud en boven in de bergen uitkijkend op het meer van Lugano. Geweldig buitenzwembad en binnen spa. Heel erg goed !

Beautiful resort 😍
The place is stunning, decor of the hotel is very tasteful and feels exclusive. The pool area is also very beautiful. Service is great and staff are very professional and courteous. Only downside was the gym (on the website it says well appointed fitness center but the quality of the machines is not there, then again if you just need free weights and cardio it's enough) and the restaurant- for the price I expected the food to be amazing - it was nice but a little bistro could have done the same, there was nothing special about it. The hotel is only 15mns drive into Lugano center and there are many walking hiking paths directly from the hotel. There is also a free indoor carpark with 2 charging stations for electric cars. All in all, it's quiet and romantic and i would definitely recommend this hotel.
