I never stayed here they turned me away because I have animals and now the hotel charges me money because Expedia my reservation was not canceled even though I called and complained to Expedia that this motel would not allow me to stay there and I can’t get through to anyone agents on Expedia just computer recordings. This is a great little stop for an overnight. My fiancé and I were traveling to Florida and needed a inexpensive, decent bed for the night. Upon arrival we were greeted by the nicest man, who was genuinely pleasant and made sure to get us checked in quickly. He made sure we had everything we needed. The bed was surprisingly comfortable! I’m mean it isn’t an elite experience by any means, but adequate for the money. We would definitely stop here again if we ever pass through.

Room was obviously in need of updating. Refrigerator was dirty, there was no grate over the bathroom vent. Had to go ask for towels as there were none. Zero. Zippo. The gentleman at the desk was friendly and helpful.

Not the Ritz but a good place to spend the night
This is an older hotel however, if you take that into consideration, in my view, you will not be disappointed. Everything at this hotel work fine, the room was not new, the towels were not new but everything worked.

AC was very poor room did not get comfortable unti
Very old motel but looks very nice and blue on the outside. Bathtub very old Scherer nozzle very low and old. No phone in room to contact office with problems. TV very hard to be able to find channels don’t know what kind of cable they have. AC was very poor room did not get comfortable until about 3 o’clock this morning.

Hotel is old & run down. There were alot of cosmetic disappointments that could have been repaired easily. Shower head was covered with mildew. Acceptable for price point.

Well, first things first, I wasn’t greeted with even a simple hello. All I got was a “yes?” Then the gentleman because you ask questions about how many people staying the night and if multiple people were going to be there and proceeds to go on a rant about calling the cops on people when he sees too many people in rooms and how he “doesn’t play that.” Never once have me any documentation to sign, never told me what checkout time was, breakfast time, nothing except for that he is going to watching me from his Candera to count my visitors. There were no towels or wash cloths in the room. It reeked of a dead rat smell and there were burnt holes in the cover. I asked for a room on the back side of the property, away from the road and he responds, “is there a reason why?” Invasive, but have poor property upkeep.

Not my best experience
The hotel was very basic, what you'd expect from a budget stay. The place was fine, but the refrigerator really didn't work. We also had the misfortune of a room directly below what we assume was a group of kids on their way to a spring break destination. LOTS of noise well past midnight and again very early.

Room 103: no smoke alarms. The power out for the fridge and tv didn't work, so those amenities didn't work. Other than that it was good. No complaints out of me considering I just needed a bed, and a shower in the morning

Beware the front desk person!
The room was clean and comfortable, but the front desk man was rude. he had an attitude about what their policies say versus what hotels.com says in their e-mails and listings.

Lobby was extremely hot while waiting to check in, just 2 towels in the bathroom, no paper tissues, no laundry bag, broken fixtures, very old and uncomfortable chairs. The only thing they got going for themselves the guy who checked me in was nice and professional.

The hotel it self was ice and clean. Front desk attendant was very nice. However the bath room in 103 was filthy tub was Disgusting the showerhead head buildup mold in mildew I went and reported to the front desk attendant. Our room didn’t get any room service ETC= no trash took out , no clean towels. Bed wasn’t made. I again went and reported it No feed back. I had to go to office and ask for clean towels. Y’all need to replace the towels they are hard and dingy looking.

Fair price
The room is ok for the price, cold Ac , Tv, comfy beds. They shouldn't advertise for the free breakfast. Its disgusting. Waffles are gummy and coffee taste like dirty water.

Shelter from hurricane Dorian during our evacuation. Otherwise, room was in terrible condition. Price was affordable, hot water, cold a/c were positives, as were the very friendly staff. Smoke detector was non-existent, just bare wires in ceiling. That was worrisome. Filthy carpet, frayed towels, no cover plates on outlets were other negatives. Would not stay here again by choice.
