We really wanted to love this place and had high expectations. Unfortunately, we didn’t have a very pleasant experience at first. The owner made a mistake and had double booked our room so had to put us in a subpar hotel far away (with no view, a broken AC, and no washing machine - all things we had paid for). What is worst is that there wasn’t much explanation to anything that day, he just took our bags and left us at the hotel as if it wasn’t a big deal. This also broke up our trip since we had to check out and then check in again the following day. All of this would have been okay if he would have comp us the night or in some way made up for it monetarily but that didn’t happen (he even accepted from us the $10 fee to do laundry). The room (once we were able to get it) was nice and and had great views. He also gave us a bottle of wine and apologized the next day, but honestly that wasn’t enough for us to make up for the hassle...
