Abbiamo soggiornato una sola notte…. Per una notte va bene. Di negativo era il riscaldamento con condizionatore abbastanza numeroso. Abbiamo prenotato con app e al nostro arriva la camera era fredda nessuno si è occupato di accendere il riscaldamento prima del nostro arrivo Ristorante molto buono colazione ,eravamo solo noi credo nella struttura, ok salato pochissima scelta nel dolce Sicuramente non è un 4 stelle ma per una notte e ok

The AC didn’t work, the room only had a small window through which you can get same fresh air. There was a wall In front of the window. There was a bad smell in the bathroom. The room was smaller that the one I which I booked. The person at the reception was not helpful. .

bad experience in the pub and in the restaurant
the hotel is good, but the service at the restaurant and pub has become poor. I have lived there for a few days every 4-5 weeks before the pandemic and start travelling again in June this year. Maybe it's hard to get good and inspiring workers during this pandemic, I don't know. I hope it gets better, and if I don't, I'll change hotels.

Generelt godt hotelt
Veninde tur med masser af shopping. Hotellet ligger langt fra byen men det gør ikke noget for taxa er billige 36 kr for en tur. Værelserne er gode. Morgenmad er okay men vi manglede nogle gange brød og der var intet frugt. Vi boede på første etage og det kan ikke anbefales, når der er bryllup i deres sal. Vi fik ikke sovet før kl 6 søndag morgen. Da vi klagede, fik vi oplyst, at vi skulle være kommet ned om natten, og at vi jo havde bestilt familieværelse og de var kun tilgængelige på første sal. Vi prøvede foreslå, at de fremover skulle være opmærksomme på problemet og flytte gæster på andre etager når der er bryllupper, vi tror ikke det kommer til at ske. Så undgå familieværelser - musikken var så højt at de to lamper ved sengen, gav lyd fra sig.

Le samedi nous arrivons pour souper et le restaurant avait été réservé par un groupe. Personne ne nous avait avisé. Nous étions très déçus car nous avions aimé notre repas à ce restaurant le vendredi où le personnel était très gentil.

Got lots of help from the concierge on methods of getting into town. The hotel was in (long) walking distance to the old town. Cab only cost $3 to get back. Nice and clean and breakfast was good. Very happy stay.

Very good
The room was spacious and clean .Bed was very comfortable.The staff were efficient but not particularly helpful.We had a lovely 2 day stay at the Lido and really enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi on the roof

Nice, big airy room, comfortable bed , clean bathroom, but not very good location, far from any bar/restaurant, nothing around, just an appalling McDonald's.

Good hotel, even for more than one night.
This is the second time that we are staying at this hotel. The hotel is quite good, they also have a restaurant with a wonderful Moldavian stew. The staff is very helpful and attentive. Room is basic but nice and equipped with the essentials. The only downside is the limited parking space and it is quite difficult finding a free spot on the streets.

I really enjoyed staying at this hotel,staff were very professional and helpful considering I didn’t speak the local language ,they made me feel very comfortable,will stay there again on my next visit.

Great hotel
Great hotel with just a five minute walk to the beach and to centrum, really enjoyed the pool area and everything is clean and nice. Service was great, I can really recommend this hotel

Bad cleaning
Cleaning women dont do their job, besides changing towels they dont do anything, even dont take the trash from bin. Very excellent receptionist, always smiling and welcoming.

Nice hotel with big caveats
Overall the hotel was nice. But there are some significant caveats. The hotel advertises non-smoking rooms. But only one third of the rooms are non-smoking. We requested a non-smoking room but were assigned a smoking room. Fortunately, it did not smell of smoke. The hotel advertises air conditioning but as we learned after arrival they do not turn it on until June-a management decision.Unfortunately, our stay was mid-May. Upon arrival, we found our room uncomfortably warm. We told reception the room temperature was unacceptably warm. Reception then moved us to a room with two windows to provide cross ventilation (albeit at a higher rate). Fortunately, the weather cooled down so the room temperature was marginally acceptable at night with the two windows open and circulating fan running. But with the windows open, we found fly insects on several mornings. The hotel is on a noisy main thoroughfare. The noise level was marginally acceptable at night. But having to open the windows did not shield us from after midnight revelers attending a wedding reception one night. Parking at the hotel is very limited. It was an ongoing struggle to find a parking space. The hotel is surrounded by apartment buildings with inadequate parking. We were unable to use our (flat plug) 220V to 110V converters because the hotel outlets only acceptable round recessed 220V plugs. We feel there are better choices in Timisoara for American leisure travelers.

The standard of the room was not up to 4 stars. But everything worked fine, and no problems.

Good hotel in Timisoara
Spent two nights at the Lido hotel. Staff were very helpful. Rooms are very good. My colleague said that it was worth getting to breakfast early-ish, otherwise they began running out of things.

Perfect but not central
The room was very clean, air conditioned, the wi fi worked fine. The reception staff very accommodating and helpful. They found a local phone number, placed a call, and even placed a call to the US when I couldn't figure out how. The restaurant was a little pricey, but the food was fantastic. Authentic Romanian food, and I should know, I was born there. The free breakfast was perfectly satisfactory, even though they had no decaf coffee. Almost no place in Romania does. The only complaint I can think of is that the web site promised it in the center of town and it wasn't , we needed to take a taxi to get to the center (not a bank breaker, but I didn't expect it). I would like to stress the politeness and helpfulness of the staff, both reception and restaurant. Very good value for the money.

Good start to our holiday
We really enjoyed our stay at the Lodo Hotel. Reception staff were helpful and spoke good English. Breakfast was excellent. The hotel is about 30 minutes walk from the centre. I realised that it was out of the centre when I booked it, but I would hardly say that it is close to the Orthodox Cathedral. There is a tram stop right outside the hotel, but we walked in each day. You can vary the route slightly each day, and on Sunday morning we came upon the delightful pet market close to the Nicolae Balcescu church, with lots of puppies looking for new homes. There is an excellent free tourist map available from the Tourist Information Centre, with the centre in large scale on one side, and another map showing the outskirts (including the Lido !! ) on the other side.

hotel close to football stadion
I have stayed here for 1 night and have choosen the this hotel because it was close to the companies I had to visit. However it is also not to far from the centre. The Hotel is nice and clean, the restaurant is oke, but for sure you find in the city centre very good food for a similar price. For my next visit I will choose this hotel again!
