OK, I'm going to stick my neck out and suggest that this B&B isn't outstanding. I can sum it up this way: At one point not long after our arrival, my wife and I were sitting there looking around silently. Suddenly this popped into my head and I asked my wife, "Would we accept this if it was a hotel room"
She immediately replied, "No, we wouldn't." Why is it that it's easier to think, "Oh, my, this is an eccentric room," if it's a B&B? When the owner showed us where the earplugs were kept, we should have said thanks and left, but we didn't. We didn't actually need earplugs, and we slept ok, and the breakfast was nice, but we won't stay there again. We felt gypped by what we paid and what we got. In summary, it's ok (no better than average) and we wouldn't recommend it.
