R&b is always great the location is great for me and reasonable price..rooms are small but clean & there is no window view but the air conditioner works well.. near Ueno and Alihabara and close to several trains this place works for me!

A comfortable stay of 3 nights
This is my 2nd time staying at R&B chain of hotel. My 1st was at sapporo hokkaido. R&B single rooms are 1 of the best in Japan. It is quiet, clean and right size. If it is non smoking room, it is truly non smoking. Although the free breakfast menu is the same every morning, it is always good to have some food in the morning, especially in winter. Pastry is fresh, coffee is strong. It is also well located in the ueno hirokoji area, with 2 mins walk to okachimachi JR station. 1 min walk to ueno hirokoji ginza line. it is also walkable to Akihabara district, ameyoko market, ueno park. Sat room price is twice that of weekdays. But most tokyo rooms rates are the same too. Its occupants are mainly salaryman or local businessman, as i can see them in office wear during breakfast. Tourists are welcome too, as I was welcome at check-in. Service is always polite from Japanese staffs. English speaking staffs are available. Room comes with toilet, small bath tub, shower gel and shampoo. toiletries and pyjamas can be requested for free at reception. Lugguge can be stored after check-out. I will stay again at R&B, if available at the location i visit in japan.

The (single) room is small even by Japanese standards: I couldn't even leave my bag open when I wasn't using it, there wasn't enough room. In all other respects the hotel was excellent: very quiet, clean, comfortable, good location (15 minutes walk to Ueno station, and there are other Metro stations closer).

Good location for Ueno Park, terrible breakfast.
I was only here for one night, the location was the most important thing for me. There is no WiFi but you can ask for an LAN cable at reception. The breakfast was terrible! No variety and if you don't like/eat Danish pastries, boiled egg or soup, you'll go hungry.

Good hotel for short stays or single travellers
A good hotel for short stays. Location is easy to find from either the Ueno-Hirokoji metro (3mins) or Okachimachi JR station (6-7mins) and is in between Ueno and Akihabara (8-13mins walking) Good staff who helped even though their english wasn't the best. They also returned something I forgot in the room, for which I am most grateful. Room was a standard business hotel type (which is very small compared to what most people are used to) and was clean and comfortable. Complimentary breakfast was good, a small selection of 4 types of breads/pastries, with drinks and even a soup dispenser. Look forward to stay again if there is need for a stop-over.

the R&B chain is known for its moderately priced no frills hotels, and this one in Ueno is no exception. Room was very small, with an almost impossible to reach little window. However room was quiet and the bed very comfortable. The plus of this hotel is its location: walking distance (10 mts stroll) on one side to Akihabara and on the other to Ueno. Also very close to Okachimachi station on the Yamanote line. I shalll use it again on my next trip to Tokyo.

駅から近く、飲食店も多いエリアなのに、静かでした。設備も新しくて使いやすく、とても快適でした。清掃については少しだけ気になりましたが、不快になるレベルではありませんでした。全体として、とてもコスパの良いホテルで、満足です。

立地、交通の便はとても良い。 地下鉄ホームに通じるエレベーターも近いのでキャリーを 抱えて階段を登り降りしなくてもいい。 ホテルでは　枕カバーの匂いが気になり1日目はよく眠れなかった。連泊だったので　クリーニング後　２日目からは気にならなかった。 アメニティではコットンがなかったので　女性で必要な方は持参を。

床好舒服。
床真的超級舒服，明明只睡六個小時，但一覺到天亮也沒有做夢，好想要有張一樣的床跟枕頭啊。 飯店交通方便，設備又新，房間的佈置也很舒服，有個小沙發可以坐在那邊滑手機，非常的放鬆。 缺點應該是早餐有點單調，建議旅程中可以吃個一天或兩天就好，不用每天都吃。
