The blackout drapes do not cover the windows, so the room was quite bright from the parking lot lights. This made it very difficult to sleep. The breakfast was really limited. No eggs, no sausage or bacon. Low quality muffins and baked goods were offered. Thank goodness there was oatmeal. I paid $200 for this room and am really regretting my decision to stay there.

Mediocre at best.
Although this hotel gets good reviews, I am not sure why. I stayed here based on the reviews and was very disappointed. The room didn't seem very clean. The elevator floor had big stains that were there for three days and never mopped up. The shower has very poor pressure. Our room had a big hole in the wall for a vent or something that was wide open, and then a light was hung over it with parts of the hole still showing. The hot tub was down while we were there. There was only 1 ice machine for the whole hotel. Breakfast was okay.

Bed bugs
Only there about 30 mins. Daughter had a bed bug crawl on her. Got up and left immediately. As were told the front desk another person came in and they still checked them in and didn’t say one word to them about the bed bugs.

My family has used this location for many years. So, it's always for first location I check for availability when I come to Topeka. The staff has always been very friendly and accomidating.

Apparently recently renovated, with quiet and comfortable rooms and a very good breakfast. Drive time to downtown or most area attractions is 10 minutes or less, but there's also plenty of dining and shopping in the immediate area. Excellent place to stay, and we will if in Topeka again.

Ask to see room before you stay
They dont clean the shower very good mold all around the shower the carpet is pulled up in places the beds were amazing the hot tub didnt work just not worth what i paid to stay

I specifically booked this hotel for the pool and also what seemed like good overall reviews. Checked in only to find out that the pool has been closed and undergoing renovations for the past two months! No where in their website said this. I felt like they should inform guests prior to checking in or at booking. They expected us to go to another pool, Quality Inns, which is about a five minute drive. No thanks! Also, the room smelled musty and old. So badly need of a renovation or upgrade at least!! Do not book here!! You’ll regret paying for it like we did!

Nice room, A/C struggled to cool both rooms, but it was very hot outside, might have been a factor. Was not hot in either room.

The front desk attendant was inviting and cordial. It was easy to check out via text. The rooms were quite dirty, not in a missed cleaning way, but more in a run-down way. The carpets were stained, and peeling paint in areas, and the interior doors didn’t lock properly (like the bathroom) But, given the price, I think it met expectations.

We paid for a suite so we wouldn’t bother our daughter. The door the bedroom didn’t shut and we couldn’t shut it anyways because the ac unit was in the bedroom. So the living room was hot and we still didn’t have privacy.

Not great for the money
Room was advertised to sleep 5 but we only had 2 queen beds. Luckily they had a roll away for us to use. Rooms seemed dated and not as clean I had hoped. Phone did not work and there are no clocks in the room. For the price I expected WAY more.

Located within walking distance of Hooters restaurant, easy to locate, close to shopping, spacious room. Pool and hot tub were closed because the ceiling had collapsed into the pool, there was a distinct pet odor in the room, we bought Febreze pet odor neutralizer and used it liberally but was not able to get rid of the smell, carpet had many stains. elevator was not working the day we checked out and we were staying on the second floor, we had to carry all our luggage down the stairs, nobody offered to help.
