So, when you book a cheap motel, you don't expect a 5 star resort; however, you at least hope to have someone at the front counter who isn't completely clueless. The check in process was really sad. We stood in line... for about 10 minutes. Then we were told we couldn't check in until 3:00 (which wasn't a big deal... ). So, we left, and came back right at 3:00. When we came back, he looked at me and said that the rooms still weren't ready... and I asked when they would be. His response was..."There were 40 rooms to clean, and only 2 people to do it.... honestly, you'll probably want to wait for the next person to check you in..." and pointed at the door... (a new employee was coming in) and he continued to count his drawer. So, I stood back, and waited for her to get situated. She walks in... and asks the employee what's going on... and he keeps counting his drawer... as if she's not even talking to him. She looks at me and asks if she can help... (I explain the situation)... and she says there are plenty of rooms ready. So, she gets us checked in... as fast as she can... and we are on our way.
Honestly, the stay was fine. No blow dryers in the room.... but that wasn't the end of the world. The check in process was greatly improved once we were actually acknowledged by someone.
