Biking across Sweden from East to West, Uddevalla was our last pit-stop. A very pleasant hotel and a charming host/receptionist/owner. The hotel was a bit shut-down in the evening, but this was no great surprise. Good beds, nice and clean rooms and an adequate breakfast made our stay quite enjoyable.

Charming hotel close to the action.
Great little hotel close to the city center action. Not your standard cookie cutter hotel. English speaking staff was warm and helpful. Clean and cheery rooms.

The hotel was very good, the staff were friendly and the double room was a good size. The ensuite although not large was well designed with moveable glass doors to the shower giving maximum use to the room. The hotel was close to the centre the river and the ring road (E6). Dinner is not available at the hotel but The Meating room at a nearby and walkable Best Western was very good.

I booked this hotel at the last minute after my travel plans changed, so I wasn't sure what to expect. It is a very well presented boutique hotel, with bags of character founded on a nautical theme. A lot of thought has clearly gone into the design and decor. The owners and the staff were lovely and couldn't have been more helpful to me. It is a 5 minute walk from the centre of Uddevalla, but that is probably no bad thing.

Har lyckligtvis funnit denna pärla i Uddevalla. Vid varje tillfälle jag varit i stan i tjänsten det senaste året har jag bott över här. Bart och Claudia driver ett charmigt och personligt hotell och möter dig alltid med service i toppklass. På Hotell Uddewalla har jag fått känna mig som hemma med bekvämligheten av ett hotell. Rekommendrar detta hotell varmt!

Kom til hotellet med prolaps og store smerter. Møtte resepsjonisten som ordnet handicap rom til oss, som hadde en veldig god justerbar seng. Fikk da også egen parkering rett ved rommet. Var tilpasset inngang til rullestol brukere, samme med badet. Kort avstand fra rom til der vi spiste frokost. Hotellet og de som jobber der fortjener all ros de kan få👏 Overnattet 2 netter👏(ga beskjed om at vi kunne bytte rom dersom det kom noen som hadde større behov for rommet enn meg)

Hotell Uddewalla kan absolutt anbefales!
Vi tok en stoppover på hotell Uddewalla på hjem til Norge fra en uke i Småland, og dette viste seg å være akkurat det rette stedet. Denne gamle «ambassaden» er blitt et flott hotell i en perfekt beliggenhet i Uddevalla sentrum, og kort vei til bl.a. Torp köpcentrum. Meget flott og velutstyrt værelse med god plass og t.o.m. en liten balkong. Med vinduer på to sider, var det likevel god beskyttelse fra solen med markiser og lystette gardiner. Vi ble møtt av en meget vennlig, serviceinnstilt og hjelpsom ansatt i resepsjon ved ankomst. Det var mulig å parkere ved hotellet for en symbolsk tilleggsgebyr. Frokosten var helt fantastisk med masse flotte saker å velge mellom, noe for enhver smak, også for personer med f.eks. gluten- og laktoseintoleranse. De ansatte var hjelpsomme og vennlige. Dette hotellet kan absolutt anbefales dersom turen går til eller via Uddevalla. Dette ble et av de beste hotelloppholdene jeg hag opplevd. Tommel opp og terningkast 6! Vi kommer gjerne tilbake!
