When we stayed at this property, it was undergoing a renovation. We were staying in a room where the carpet looked like it had been updated but everything else looked a bit shabby so we couldn't really tell if the room had already been renovated or whether it was still waiting??
The location of this property was convenient for visiting Catalina State Park and Mount Lemmon which was the reason we chose it and I liked that it included breakfast. However, the breakfast was definitely below average. On the first day we arrived for breakfast at 8:30am - the breakfast window is 6:00am - 9:00am. The scrambled eggs were dry, there was no fruit left, only 1 pastry left, no batter left to make pancakes. The butter tasted terrible as did the yogurts. It was really surprising to have such a terrible breakfast offering at an Embassy Suites.
On the 2nd day, we came down for breakfast at 6:10am because we were leaving for an early morning hike. We thought that coming down early would mean more/better breakfast choices. Em, no. The eggs were still dry. The only fruit offered was 1 kind of melon and there was only 1 kind of pastry. The selection and quality of the items offered was very poor. On the 3rd day, we skipped breakfast entirely and paid to eat somewhere else.
