Lovely place to stay. The view is unbeatable. Very friendly staff made us feel at home. Our apartment was spotless and very well appointed. The only issue was that we did not have a shower in our ensuite, just a bathtub. Not really much of a concern though.

Pelican Sands was is the best hotel that I have stayed in. Very clean and the managers were so friendly and helpful I will definitely be going back there ❤️

Loved it!
We stayed during a random weather event. Although we did not enjoy the beach as planned, we watched things unfold from the comfort of our room. Staff were fantastic, facilities were great, and our room was amazing.

Great stay in Tugun.
Great location and service. Fully self-contained apartments, large living space, and full kitchen amenities. The beach here is one of the best in the world. Amazing views and walking distance to essential shopping such as groceries, liquor outlets, bakery, cafes, and restaurants. There is a recently completed paved boardwalk for the joggers and riders. The management here are helpful and friendly.

Great beach locale.
The location is great. Waking up to the view and sound of the ocean is fantastic. The room was old and not very clean. Definitely livable but not as clean as I would expect for the price. The major pro is beach access without crossing a street. Out of the property door, cross a walkway (which is a great exercise or strolling trail), and you are at the unpatrolled beach. If you want a lifeguard area it is approximately 10 minutes walk in either direction. The pool is in a great spot but quite deep, close to 180cm or 6 feet in most areas. Having a full apartment next to the beach is the best thing about the place. The place is doable without a vehicle. Modest amenities are within about a 15 minute walk. The management are very friendly and helpful.

Had beautiful views on beach. That was about it. There were fleas and maggots in the house all over the kitchen upon arrival and feet black dirty minute walked on floor. Never saw staff once while we were there closed Sunday afternoons then Friday to Tuesday so couldn't use facilities/ gym /games room or get help with anything even check in no one. Someones car was in our car space so spent first night parked on road lugging in luggage from far away. The beds were hard as a rock, cheap and uncomfortable, and bathroom completely outdated. couches vinyl and uncomfortable. Sweated in them when sat down. Couldn't figure out how to turn on bedroom lights during whole stay switches broken. The rooms you definately couldn't sleep in because all you heard was highway noise or airplanes with all windows shut. The place was OK but a complete rip off price wise. It felt like I was staying at a hostel with a great view on the beach.

Aquarian's Delight
Our Stay was fabulous. The view to die for. Over too quickly. If we did have a concern it was dealt with by the immediately by the lovely Managers Leslie and Paul. Nothing was too much trouble for them. We could enjoy the beach in all aspects. Whether viewing from our balcony, or walking endlessly along the shore. Very easy access in and out of the complex. Great restaurants nearby. What more could you want for in a relaxing holiday.

Right on the beach. Friendly and helpful staff.
We stayed here for the Commonwealth Games. Great location for us, bus at the door and really comfortable. Easy to park the car and the staff were very friendly.

Ripped off badly on price and the manager's wife is rude and insulting. She criticized my disability and tried to get me to get me to stay elsewhere because of it.. The rooms needed a good clean. The rubbish chute smelt every time we walked by. The pool photos are misleading. Whole place needs a makeover. Much better value elsewhere and they price gouged those staying during the games. they also changed the booking conditions after i had booked and paid. Not nice people. The rooms smelt of smoke. Overall a huge disappointment,

Love it.
We have stayed at Pelican sands a couple of times now and it has been brilliant both times. We live in Brisbane and it is perfect for a quick getaway on the beach. The location is great and as it is directly on the beach, we have seen dolphins and whales from the balcony. The ocean views are always stunning and always changing. The facilities are very good, the pool, spa and sauna are all very clean. There is a games room and small gym as well. Leslie on the reception desk is very helpful and friendly. Our room was very comfortable and maybe a bit dated. But the kitchen has everything you need and the bed was comfortable, I had a great sleep every night. I really like this place and we are already planning our next visit.

Wonderful views; right on the beach!
We housed 2 adults and 3 (very active) small children. The rooms are spacious and provide everything you need to be self-sustaining. The room overlooked the beach, & it was literally only metres away. The beach was not overly busy, & the waves were big enough for my kids to play - but not get dunked. The pool is very spacious, however the depth ranges from 1.8-1.9m, with only 1 small corner of the pool having steps - it is great for adults, but not overly easy for children to navigate on their own. Shopping centres are within a short driving distance as are many tourist attractions. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend it to others.

Absolute beachfront. Across from airport but hardly heard the planes from inside. Had a games room but couldn't access the equipment over the long weekend which was disappointing. Otherwise a great stay, would happily stay again.

Well equipped, clean units with great views.
Fantastic and friendly onsite management. Easy late arrival and management very obliging and informative. Car park easy to get into, even in a larger car, and common areas well presented. Room was fresh and well maintained with great views of the coastline and the hinterland. Everything in the unit we could need for the weekend away, or for a longer stay. Shops just out of walking distance (with kids), but very easy access in the car, while all the usual takeaways are within short drive. Great little corner store/takeaway on the corner. 2 pools in the facility, one outdoor and small plunge pool inside adjacent the spar. Pool is a little deep for kids at 1.8 mtres if not good swimmers, but kickboards and swim noodles available at reception. Great place to stay away from the hustle and bustle and sure we will return.

The best apartment I have ever stayed in.
Without a doubt, the most amazing apartment I have ever stayed in. Stunning views of the beach, Coolangatta, Surfers Paradise and the airport, to watch planes land and take off. I booked the Penthouse and this gave me 2 floors of living space, with 6 balconies, including my own rooftop that was the icing on the cake, with its own Sauna and shower. The beach was 10 metres from the back door and Tugan shops in walking distance or a minute drive. Leslie and the team were fantastic as well as all the apartment offerings available to all guests and great to have secure gated undercover parking for additional security. Fully recommend to all and I am already thinking about my next trip. Thanks again. Ian.

２０１６年４月１２日から９０１号に５泊しました。予約したカテゴリーとは違う部屋でした。フロントのポールとレスリーはとてもフレンドリーで助けになってくれます。アーリーチェックインを希望しておりましたが、快くアレンジしてくれましたしその夜に来たエクスペディアからの簡易アンケートに”お湯が出ない”と回答するとすぐに連絡があり状況を把握する努力をしていました。私自身ここゴールドコーストは６度目ですが、ここが一番施設が古く戸惑いました。オーブンレンジや洗濯機のダイアルを合わせるインジケーターはもはや判別ができないほどに消えかかっていてどこに合わせていいかはほぼ感に頼っていましたし、ベットは２世代前のマットレスとフレームでした。私としては次に同じ部屋だと断るでしょう。
