This property is a real gem. Easy walk down to the Medina but very quiet and out of the way. A bit tricky to find but the amazing staff met me out on the street and showed me in. All staff members were exceptionally friendly and helpful and the breakfast was wonderful. I loved this property!

I had a great stay for 3 nights! The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nice and i think the hostel had good value for the money. The location was also good with close walking distance to the souk and attractions.

Endroit top en famille Centre médina accessible à pied ,pratique pour se balader,aller au centre ville très facile d’accès.restaurant aux alentours il y en a pour tous les goûts. Tout les membres du personnel étaient au top très souriant,à l écoute ,gentil . Merci . A très bientôt.

This is called a hostel simply because of the shared toilets and shower rooms, but the rooms are individual rooms and are beautiful and clean. It is few minutes away from the main part of souk. I gave it a 4 because I don't like having to walk out of my bedroom to get to the toilet in the middle of the night.

El hostel es bonito con una arquitectura típica, está en la Medina. El dueño o señor de la recepción es muy amable. La cama era cómoda, y la habitación y los baños compartidos estaban limpios. El lugar es muy tranquilo, pero se oye ruido de las habitaciones de al lado, tenía un señor que roncaba súper alto y menos mal tenía tapones para poder dormir. Salí muy temprano y no puede probar el desayuno. Pero hay que tener en cuenta que no puedes llegar hasta el hostel en coche, la calle más cercana para los coches está a 6 min caminando por callejones de la Medina que a veces no tiene casi luz.

Respondem rápido as dúvidas pelo aplicativo, transfer do aeroporto e porto por um bom preço, afável, boa comunicação em inglês e francês, disposição sempre para ajudar e café da manhã muito bom. O casarão estilo antigo é belíssimo.

Beautiful house with warm welcome
This is a beautiful house, close to the heart of the Tunis medina. The room was very spacious and we enjoyed eating breakfast in the covered courtyard. The rooftop terrace has a good view but there were no tables or chairs. The host spoke good English and gave us excellent advice for finding local vegetarian food.

Perfect Medina Stay
Amazing! A ride from the airport was only 15€! All of the guys working at the front desk were so kind and friendly. Very clean rooms. Loved the simple breakfast in the morning. Great social area and also a rooftop available.

Disappointing local, nice staff
The hotel is located in an area inaccessible by car so taxis will leave you outside of the medina and you have to take a walk through the confusing small streets to get there (not recommended at night). the room was very cramped and extremely hot with very dim light on the roof top with only a small fan. I could not sleep all night. the breakfast was ok and the staff were very nice and welcoming.

El hotel está bien ubicado dentro de La Medina de Túnez, algo complicado llegar a la propiedad, como toda Medina en países islámicos. El staff muy agradable y servicial. El internet pésimo, se caía continuamente y no funcionaba en mi habitación, deberían mejorarlo, sobre todo ahora en que los viajeros debemos estar en telecomunicación. El desayuno excelente. Las habitaciones y baños comunitarios limpios. El lugar está muy bien para visitar Túnez ciudad.

Super nettes Personal, hervorragendes Frühstück, und sehr gute Lage: Das Dar Ya Team ist sehr bemüht allen Gästen einen schönen Aufenthalt zu ermöglichen, ist für alle Fragen offen und gibt super viele Tipps! Außerdem ist das Frühstück sehr lecker. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Excellent hébergement, rien à redire
Très bon accueil, très bien placé à 5 minutes de la Kasba. Rien à redire à cette auberge de jeunesse qui n’a rien à envier à un hôtel. Le charme est là, la literie confortable, une très belle terrasse sur le toit, un service pour rejoindre l’aéroport à toute heure pour 10€, un petit déjeuner copieux. Nous étions avec nos enfants et avons eu une chambre au rez-de-chaussée avec une très belle douche dans la chambre et 2 ventilateurs. Bravo et merci à l’équipe. Vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés !

Bellissimo, curato pur mantenendo il fascino tradizionale di abitazione storica nella Medina. Personale accogliente, puntuale e preciso nel soddisfare le necessità degli ospiti. Non ha stanze con bagno privatoa vale sinceramente la pena soggiornarci. Mi è dispiaciuto sostare per una sola notte, tornerò volentieri.

The location of this property is right in the heart of the action of the Medina. There are elements to the physical building and decorations that feel authentic. I arrived around 11 am, and I was checked in promptly. Several disappointing things from the check in: The person who checked me in didn’t speak any English, which isn’t a necessity, but also did not provide any other information to me in my native tongue, specifically accessing the building or offer assistance regarding an ongoing issue with iPhones connecting to the WiFi. My initial room looked GREAT-until I was trying to sleep and was awoken by incessant jack-hammering on the wall 2 feet from the bed. Tired from several days of travel, I asked to be moved to another room; it was MUCH smaller, and less welcoming asthetivall

Well staffed with helpful and outgoing people who are willing to help problem solve with their visitors. The breakfast buffet is small but with adequate variety, instant coffee. I booked their 3 day/2 night tour upon arrival (not sure if in tourist season this is possible) and had a wonderful time seeing the South. My driver/ guide was pleasant. And the sites I was easily able to see had variety which provided a snap shot into many aspects of life. Enjoyed my stay very much

A beautiful place right in the old medina. Very nicely decorated with extremely helpful staff. All the rooms face out into the central courtyard, so it was a bit loud while people were talking, but once everyone went to bed it was absolutely silent. I really loved the nicely painted furnishings, they gave a lot of character and appeal to the room. The breakfast was nice for the region with a good selection.

Quaint but nice
I would call the hostel quaint, if you are wanting the authentic experience then this may be for you. As it is winter it was cold outside, however the central heating in the room was on full blast (lucky us). There were stairs on the wall which led to an upstairs area/room, but it was empty, gathering dust. The main aspect of the stay that stuck out to me was the communal bathroom... I must have missed it when I booked it and got quite of a shock when I found out.
