I will be coming back
Really friendly staff in a lovely hotel. Everything was perfect except for the showers which have no pressure and can go from hot to cold. This is a minor complaint in an exceptionally nice hotel

The Hotel Zugspitze offers an incredible staff, delicious food, stellar location, and amenities. We wish we lived closer so we could visit frequently. Frank was kind enough to make sure we were fed after a late arrival. However, the star of our stay was Jonathan, who was kind and helped us so much. We cannot wait for the opportunity to stay here again.

Just as amazing the 2nd time roung
This was our 2nd time staying here, the first in winter-time. We were in the midst of a quite major snowstorm and there is nowhere I would have rather been. It was so comfortable and cozy in this hotel. The food is always excellent and there is so much of it. Absolute heaven. The proximity to the town and hiking trails could not be better. We spent a lot of time exploring the trails in the snow, returning to the hotel for hot drinks, roaring fire and friendly staff. And -- the "visit" by St. Nikolaus on Niklaustag was extremely special. The extras just make this place one of our favorites.

Fabulous hotel. Excellent breakfast buffet, cozy, tasteful furnishings, and a wonderful location. Nice spa area and convenient parking garage. Fairly priced.

Great hotel! The staff was very welcoming, the food was good (breakfast and dinner - and free snacks in the afternoon!). There's a nice pool, hot tub, sauna and steam room on the property. The location is convenient to the little town with lots of shops, and a 5-10 minute walk to the train to get to the Zugspitze. Overall, we had a really nice stay and I would recommend this hotel if you'll be in Garmisch!

Awesome breakfast. Unfortunately, the hot tub was not working when we were there but indoor pool hot tub and spa are a plus. Good walking distance to shopping and restaurants.

Dit is verreweg het beste wat we op onze fietsregio’s naar Rome hebben meegemaakt. We zijn er een nacht extra gebleven. Goed en vriendelijk personeel, fantastisch restaurant. Je betaald iets meer maar dat is het zeker waard. Wanneer we terug gaan naar Garmisch-Partenkirchen logeren we zeker in hotel Zugspitze.

Absolute deluxe Hotel and experience. Staff, rooms, service, food, accommodations (like Spa, Pool, drinks being refilled daily, etc) were all 5 stars. Staff really shined here and provided warm, caring service every step of the way. We are lifelong Hotel Zugspitze goers now!

The best hotel for us.
This is my favourite hotel.very close to the pedestrian area in garmisch. . We have been here 3 or 4 times now and we are going back FOR SURE... The breakfast is SUPERB. I love the scrambled eggs. I just love it. And the fresh wellness area.. also great. Keep up the good work hotel zugspitze

Maten var fantastisk, rummet stort och med två fåtöljer jura kaffemaskin, liten terrass med stol och bordar, väldigt hjälpsam o trevlig personal. SPA avdelningen med väldigt sköna relax sängar.

Wir würden wieder kommen
Im Großen und Ganzen waren wir mit unserem Aufenthalt zufrieden. Die Rezeption war sehr nett hilfsbereit und professionell. Mein Nacken Stützkissen wurde nicht vergessen und einen unerwarteten Rückruf bezüglich dem Skifahren gab es auch danke nochmal . Das Standard Zimmer war gut mit einem sehr schönen neu renovierten Bad.Der Service im Restaurant war auch sehr nett aber das Essen hat uns nicht so geschmeckt gehabt. Anscheinend hat es eine Auszeichnung aber meine Ravioli schmeckten nicht nach Trüffel und schwammen in Öl der Wiener Schnitzel (2 Stück) eins davon hatte eine gute Panade bei der zweiten ist die Panade lediglich auseinander gefallen. Das Frühstück war gut schade das es nur Schweinefleisch gab also keine Auswahl . Man hätte ja zb. Hühner Würstchen anbieten können. Es gibt einen kleinen Spa Bereich der sehr sauber war .

The guest experience with the staff in all areas of the hotel was superb. Great location near restaurants/shopping and walkable to train station (though not so much when snowing). The Michelin guide restaurant was delicious and the spa/massage treatments were great.

Traditional Bavarian Gemütlichkeit & Great Service
Lovely older hotel might need some updates, but incredible service provided by every member of their staff made up for that. Everyone was super helpful with recommending shops to scheduling massage to just greeting me every day. All hotels could use this hotel as a role model for service!!!! I also had a balcony with a nice view to enjoy when the clouds cleared. It’s just a block or so from the pedestrian zone in Garmisch and a 10 minute walk to the train station. The busy roads nearby got very quiet a night, a plus since I like an opened window at night.

Excellent hotel and the restaurant was one of the best meals we had in Germany. The breakfast was also extensive. The sauna and cold dip pool were a favorite of ours. Lovely hotel and super staff

One of our Favorites
Everything about out stay was enjoyable. We had an amazing corner room with two balconies with views of the mountains which were breathtaking. Two blocks from the center of the town, with bicycles available for exploring the surrounding countryside, and such great suggestions and guidance from the incredibly professional staff. The bathroom was the nicest we've had in years, with every detail thought of. The lounge area with afternoon snacks, the amazing breakfast (included), etc etc We ate at the restaurance which was also very good with terrific service. -- This place was just awesome and I had a very sinking feeling having to leave. Loved every minute. Love this place.
