Thank you for your recent visit and feedback. Our staff is always available to provide additional supplies if a guest runs low. Trash cans come with bags, and there should be additional bags in the can and under the kitchen sink. The front desk can also provide additional trash bags and other amenities.All of our units are individually owned and furnished in the owner's individual taste. For health, safety, and liability reasons, humidifiers are available on-request for a nominal fee, from an outside humidifier company which fully sanitizes and maintains them between guest use. Some Diamond-rated units may have built-in humidifiers as part of their HVAC system as well.

With all of our condos having actual keys instead of key cards, you are correct - you do have to remember to lock your condo instead of it automatically locking behind you.

Hi Nelli, thank you for your feedback - we always appreciate it. The Lodge at Lionshead has gold, platinum and diamond rated condos. Gold is going to be the lowest rated condos, then it goes up to platinum and diamond is going to be the highest rated condos. If you originally booked a platinum 3 bedroom condo, we upgraded you to a diamond 3 bedroom as unit 350 is diamond rated. Next time just give us a call and we can help you get the condo that's right for you!

Hi Gianna, First of all, thank you so much for your feedback. I’m sorry your stay with us was not up to your expectations. Lodge at Lionshead is a non-smoking facility which is why no unit would be advertised as a “smokers' unit.” Unfortunately, not every guest follows the rules and it sounds like the guests prior to you did not. I’m sorry we didn’t catch that before you checked in. Each condo is sprayed with a Geneon disinfecting mister as soon as a guest checks out and prior to being cleaned for the next guest. The housekeepers also have windows opened while cleaning so may not have noticed the smoke. Regardless, we never want a guest to check into a unit that smells like smoke, so I’m sorry that happened. We would have loved to offer you another unit if we had had one available, but were sold out for the weekend. The other solution was to try the ozonator and that does take some time – about an hour. As for our property, it is not a recent build. However, the exterior of the building you stayed in was renovated in 2008 and refurbished again this past May. The units themselves are all individually owned and have all been renovated – some partially and some entirely gutted. They rate from Gold (moderate) to Platinum (deluxe) to Diamond (luxury), and are priced accordingly. Thank you for the feedback on the condo you stayed in, which was a Platinum. We always pass along comments like yours directly to the owners, so they are aware of upgrades that may need to be made. The next time you come to Vail, our general manager would be happy to work with you directly to find the perfect condo for your group. We’re also happy to recommend other properties in the area that might be a better fit for your wants and needs. We truly want our guests to have the best Vail vacation possible, even if it’s not going to be with us.
