Gem of a hotel in a prime location!
Christiania Hotel was wonderful. Very nice property and amenities, and rooms are modern, clean, and well-appointed. Service is impeccable. Prime location. One minute walk to the funicular and five minute walk to the main street. Unfortunately my wife got sick while we were in Zermatt and didn’t feel well enough to leave on the day we were supposed to. The front desk was fantastic in accommodating us. They allowed us to extend our stay and shuffled things around so we could keep the same room. They also provided us everything we needed to help my wife feel better. Really wonderful management and staff here. A huge thank you to them! When we one day return to Zermatt, we will definitely pick the Christiania Hotel again!

This hotel is excellent. The swimming pool and spa are excellent. You can see Matterhorn from room balcony.

Here for a weekend of nature and mountain biking. The hotel provides anything I need in quality. Seconds away from the entrance by the river is the cliff train to Sunnegang, perfect if you plan to bike and dine like me. Pity that I don't have time to try out the indoor pool and hot massage tub. Next time!

Everyone was friendly and sweet. They provide shuttle to pick you up and drop you off at the train station so it saves me walking 10mins with heavy suitcases! Pool was fantastic. Free breakfast. Would come back

Free shuttle from the train station to and from the hotel. Great staff, clean room, but the room design with dark finishes and very little lighting was somewhat too much. Great views of the Matterhorn when it is not shrouded in clouds (even snowed one day on August 28th). But overall experience was very nice. 4 stars.

Wonderful stay at the Christiana
We had a beautiful and relaxing stay at the Christiana. It's a cute, charming, and beautiful hotel with a world class pool and spa area and the very best, unobstructed view of the Matterhorn in Zermatt!!! All of the staff were extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. We will defintely stay there again, next time we're in Zermatt.

Beautiful hotel and the view was unbelievable! Spa, pool, and hot tub were relaxing. Staff were all wonderful, everyone was extremely nice and helpful.

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Kurzurlaub im Christiania Mountaint Hotel! Ein wunderschönes Hotel mit top Service. Zum Geburtstag gab es einen Fensterplatz im Restaurant und einen feinen Kuchen vom Hotel spendiert. Vielen Dank dafür! Ausserdem durften wir trotz Check-Out den ganzen Tag den Wellness-Bereich nutzen. Die Sauna und das Dampfbad wurden extra früher zur Benutzung freigegeben. Ich kann das Hotel wärmstens weiterempfehlen und komme gerne wieder :)

Nice hotel with great pool and spa! A bit fair away from starting point if you go for summer ski!

Great location, amenities, rooms, people!
Stay was absolutely charming and great. Property is clean, rooms are comfortable and have great views, and the people who work there are top-tier. Breakfast is delicious too, and the spas/sauna facilities are great. Honestly no complaints, I’d stay here again and also recommend that anyone does - the location and proximity to Sunnegga (to get up to mountain) is really great too!

Très bon petit-déjeuné et excellent SPA.
Magnifique piscine ou on peut faire de belles longueurs et ouverte jusqu'à 2000h avec jacuzzi SPA ouvert dès 1600h. Très bel hôtel chaleureux. Salle de jeux pour jeunes enfants et billard gratuit. Petite salle de fitness. Très bon petit déjeuné varié. Bonne literie et bonne réception Wi-Fi et TV avec chaines françaises.

Super Personal und Schwimmbad/ Wellnessbereich. Zimmer schon sehr abgewohnt und aus meiner Sicht grenzwertig für ein 4-Sterne Haus für 250 CHF pro Nacht.

Great hotel for active travelers
Loved my stay at the Christiania. Location is awesome - super close to the Gornergrat Bahn, and the pool is the real deal for swimmers (25m, about 4 lanes wide, and used almost exclusively by lap swimmers). The room was spacious, the hotel is conveniently laid out for skiers, and the views of the Matterhorn were fabulous. Most impressively, the staff all seemed genuinely happy to assist with even my most random requests (special shout-out to the young lady in the spa who’s name I’m embarrassingly forgetting who make my early morning swims and late night workouts a delight with her helpfulness and sunny personality!). I’ll definitely be back next season!

Great stay
Quick trip to Zermatt for a free weekend while in Europe for work. Lovely place, great location, spa is top notch and welcomed after a hard ski day. Restaurant is also very good .Staff are all very welcoming and helpful.
