It is situated at a natural park, mountain and is close to the beach as well

Nothing, broken furniture, cockroaches in the room, ripped carpet, filfy under bed, sheets changed after several requests on the fourth day not on second, food was discuisting and no shuttle at all to the beach. There were hidden costs fo parking and no WiFi. Swimming pool was emptied

Please read review before booking!
We stayed here for one week in Aug. You get what you pay for, food not very good, cleaners did not clean our room all week, there is 130 steps to go down to reach the town therefore no good for wheelchair , pushchairs. On the plus side bed was comfy, we had air con. Would not go back to this hotel.

Hôtel avec piscine à environ 10 minutes à pieds de la plage. Les chambres ne sont pas climatisé elles ne sont pas toutes neuves mais ne sont pas complétement vétustes non plus. Peu de choses à l'intérieur juste la TV tous est en option ( frigo, coffre...) Avis un peu faussé car nous venions de Sunny Beach qui est beaucoup plus moderne. Albena est relativement calme et paisible à conseiller pour des vacances en famille. Pour les jeunes préférés SUNNY BEACH

Everything was dirty: towels, classes, floor carpet, hallways... you just name it. We stayed three nights and the cleaning lady only pick our trash once, nothing more cleaning. Cheap. You noticed that on breakfast. Lots of food, but the quality was very poor. And so were the other guests also: romanians and germans who took everything they could with them on to the beach. We didn't have all inclusive, so we don't know about lunch and dinner. But we don't even want to try it. Condition of the hotel was also poor, needs some renovation. Only thing witch was nice, was the pool. Sunny, large and warm water (there was hot weather).

good hotel for this price
Althea is a nice hotel, good for families with children especially. Clean room, bathroom with shower, the only minus is the absence of AC (air conditioning system). Overall a fair price for the quality offered.
