We travel around a lot and when we do, we often try to find the little “gems” — the hidden secrets of places to stay at. This White Caps Motel was easily the best we’ve found as far as little gems go. Completely remodeled EVERYTHING, the rooms are so nice. Large TV, super comfortable bed, sheets and pillows, and extremely clean and well kept from every sense of the word. We loved our stay here so much that we extended it just because we felt like we weren’t ready to leave. HIGHLY recommend this motel for your stop off in Ventura. What a lovely place. Good price too.

We loved our stay here! It was very nice and clean. The staff was so friendly. They had some fruit trees on the property and let us pick some and take home. We will definitely come back and stay again.

It was nice it was clean great price I didn’t like the blinds it needs black out curtains the lights from outside shine in the room The parking lot is well lit If I knew it had black out curtains I would stay there again. Great parking

This motel was perfect for me and my companion! We were visiting Ventura for the weekend for a bird show at the fair grounds, and the motel was only 6 minutes away! There are nice breakfast spots less than a mile away, just walking distance. We check-in a little late, so be sure to check-in before 10pm if you're checking in late that day! The room was very clean and the bed was so comfy, kind of hard to get out of because we just wanted to lay in it all day LOL. This motel was beyond what I expected, it really felt like a home, and that's hard to come by in most motels! Overall 10/10 experience! Will definitely book again next time we're in town! (probably every time we're in town)

Dirty sheets, dirty towels, and hairs on bed. Good price, but definitely not worth dealing with little details here and there. Maybe it was just our experience but hopefully it’s better.

The wife and I had a concert to go to at the nearby Ventura Music Hall. This motel was an excellent and convenient choice for us to spend the night rather than drive over an hour back home. It’s a 5 minute walk down the street to the venue with plenty of other popular spots in walking distance. For a Saturday night, it was pretty quiet. Other reviews mention the street outside being noisy but we didn’t have that issue. The room itself was clean, the bed was comfy and the bathroom looked recently remodeled. You have a free parking spot right in front of your room. My wife also loved the aesthetic of the room. Would definitely book again when spending the night in the area.

Room very clean and basically furnished. It would be nice to have a coffee machine in the room however. Front desk staff very accommodating and took freezer packs to be refrozen, as no in room fridge.

It was the most modern and clean property interior with an incredibly comfirable bed I've stayed in for the past 5 years. We travel alot , we usually stay in hotels, this motel was a find. We will definitely stay again, if you are looking in Ventura close to downtown & the harbor this is the spot for you.

Great lil chic motel located within walking distances to the many great eats and drinks including the ocean. Stop in across the street for a clean hair cut or do your laundry a few establishments down. Great host. Highly recommend.

Newly renovated. Modern, neat, and clean inside. Someone had used the toilet prior to us receiving the room. Also... one bug on the floor... but likely one that crawled in under the outside door. The room was extremely clean... so no evidence that cleanliness was a factor. I do wish this place had a mini-fridge... but that's my fault for not confirming beforehand. I would stay again for short trips in which I don't need a fridge.

Very clean property. Room was remodeled with nice bathroom with a standing shower. Front desk staff was extremely nice and accommodating. Great pricing for the area and a 10 minute walk to a delicious pizza spot/bar. Felt safe in the area and would highly recommend to others.

The rooms were beautiful. The beds were like sleeping on a cloud. The staff was impeccable. The staff discovered an issue with the water heater while we were out and made sure to call us and say they were moving our room. When we arrived back late that night we were met in the parking lot by the staff to exchange the keys for the new room. Parking is extremely convenient right outside your room. Close to the beach and downtown. One of the nicest rooms we have stayed in. Definately going back.

Being a local from the area, I could tell you there’s no better bang for your buck Neely renovated rooms give it a high-end hotel feel at a rate by the ocean anyone can afford. Staff was friendly room was immaculate definitely staying here again.

Newly remolded.
Our stay here was great! The room was recently renovated with all the furniture everything seeming to be brand new and the bathroom was also new with a modern feel to it. The downtown area is a couple miles away but if you wanted to save money I would recommend this motel.
