Good for a few days.
Booked as an emergency measure the Residenza last Ricciolina is at the edge of Varona. It is a gated complex of appartment so very secure. Garden has a a collection of children's toys. Appartments are clean and comfortable with parking. Cook area has all the basic needs. Fascilities such as laundry are available but charged for. Impression = ideal for a family or group passing through or spending only a few days. But if you are planning an extended stay you may find this too far from the centre.

Find a different location!
This place was so bad, we opted to leave and stay at another place. It was unsafe, the management extremely rude and the rooms reek of cigarette smoke. They kept our money anyway.

Dear Sirs, regarding your review we would like to clarify a few things: even if on your confirmation it is written that the arrival time has to be agreed with the staff, you did not contact us . We tried to reach you several times but you did not answer. You arrived after 8 pm. We do check in until 8 pm. A person of our staff had to drive from home to our residence after working hours. Since you were not satisfied with the apartment you booked, we wanted to offer another larger one. That was not good enough for you. In our apartments it is forbitten to smoke The staff personally checked it and the two apartments had not smoke smell. Maybe the fragrance disturbed you. We could easily remove it. It is a pity that people like you have the opportunity to write a comment. Most part of our guests is very satisfied. Therefore your review is not a problem for us. The excellent reviews will soon bring your comment in the background. You have booked a non-refundable rate that is cheaper. Therefore you knew exactly that you took the risk of not getting the money back. Next time think about if before writing about people that work hard every day.

Convenient, spacious, comfortable apartment.
We arrived for a two day short break. We were pleasantly surprised about how easy it was to find when driving from the airport (about 15 - 20 minutes away). Ample parking. Spacious room and adequate kitchen facilities. Well tended gardens and a little balcony area. A very good pizzeria next door and a quick drive to the centre of Verona. We were welcomed by Simona and everything was as described. It is situated on a busy road but this was not a problem for us.

Friendly and clean.
Although not very close to the centre of Verona, this is a friendly and comfortable place to stay which is well maintained and clean.

Best place to stay in Verona
This is a wonderful group of apartments on a main road on the outskirts of Verona. Despite this the apartments are reasonably quiet. There is a bus to the city centre and a supermarket very close by The apartments appear new or newly renovated. There are 1 or 2 bedroom apartments. The 2 BR consist of a combined kitchen/dining/lounge room, a separate large bedroom and a large bathroom with lovely shower cubicle. The kitchen is well set up to cook full meals. The booking and check in experience was excellent even though it was a Sunday. The wifi did not function a couple of times but the staff from the apartment fixed it almost immedietly

Soggiorno di due notti, weekend. Ci si trova davvero bene e non manca proprio nulla: dal parcheggio coperto all'aria condizionata, dal WiFi alla tv lcd.

Excellente impression. Nous avons adoré cet endroit. Comprend une cuisine avec réfrigérateur, congélateur, plaque au gaz et four. Idéal pour famille. Nous avions un appartement pour 6 alors que nous n'étions que 2. Celui-ci a 1 chambre avec grand lit et 2 chambres avec 2 lits jumeaux. Portes patio dans la grande chambre. 2 salles de bains très propres. Entrée contrôlée. Stationnement sécuritaire sinon bus qui passent tout près. Dominique et Chusa (celle-ci se débrouille en français) parlent toutes deux l'anglais. Serviables, elle nous indiquent les endroits â voir et comment s'y rendre. Superbe endroit. De toute beauté et relaxant. Je recommande fortement.

Nice but bit out of the way
We had a lovely time here. Place was clean and functional. We were here for 4 nights. We hardly saw any staff while here. There was an offer of cleaning after our third night. It didn't suit us at the time but we thought they may have left some fresh towels after which they didn't. It is a bit far out from the city. You have to get buses or taxis. If your staying for few days you could get used to it. Bed was a tad too firm for us but still ok. We were in a ground floor apartment and we could hear a lot of noise in apartment above us. This is an apartment block not a hotel.

Our family of four (two teenage girls) enjoyed our three day stay on the outskirts of Verona. The apartments are nicely appointed, beds are very comfortable and there is plenty of room to spread out. The apartments are on a pretty busy road, and it was at least 10 minutes in the car to the Old City - a bit further than we had expected. The cycle way into town was not in great repair so we only tried that option once.

EXCELLENT place to stay and visit Verona!
This hotel is beautiful and well kept. It's off a busy street that leads to the center of Verona however it is gated with its own parking and well kept grounds. The hotel is totally renovated! The outside and inside are perfect! We were 3 adults and 2 small children and enjoyed our three bedroom apartment. The beds were comfortable, the balconies were safe, the kitchen well equipped and the bathrooms were large. They were very friendly and accommodating upon arrival and departure. It is a quick 5 minute drive to parking for the city center however they also provide directions for the bus as well. They recommended us the BEST place for dinner in the heart of Verona right near the castle and opera house. In addition there is a pizza restaurant next door that was PACKED at dinner. If we were to come again we will try that pizza place which is also recommended in the room book of suggestions. The only negative we found was the breakfast. When I started looking on hotel.com I saw it said free breakfast. However, you have to add it for 5 euro per person. They provide it the night before in your room so that you wake up and have it already there. It consisted of bread rolls, cheese slices, ceral, yogurt, milk, juice and coffee and muffins. It wasn't bad however I would have preferred to just go to an Italian Bar and get coffee and pastry or something along those lines for a lot less. Overall it was an EXCELLENT stay and I will DEFINITLY come back!

Das Haus selbst ist sehr sauber und ansprechend möbliert. Die Verwalterin, eine Schweizerin, bemüht sich sehr und versorgt die ankommenden Gäste mit nützlicher Information. Die Fotostrecke vermittelt Beschaulichkeit und Idylle. Leider steht das Haus an einer sehr lauten, vielbefahrenen Straße. Ein Portal preist die Güte der Matratzen. Diese sind jedoch hart und unbequem. Wer gern weicher schläft, ist dort am falschen Ort. Eine klare Empfehlung für durchreisende, an Lärm gewöhnte Menschen ohne Rücken- beschwerden.

Fantastic Facility and Owner
We stayed as a family of five in an apartment and found this to be a fabulous stay. The suite was absolutely gorgeous. New marble tile with beautiful red woodwork throughout and a comfortable and quiet air conditioning system to comabat the 40 degree C August heat. The breakfast materials supplied for a cook-it-yourself on the fully stocked kitchen was was delicious. The owner was pleasant and extremely helpful with maps and tips on where to visit in Verona and the surrounding area. The only negative about this place is the location. It is located on the very edge of Verona in a rather run-down industrial/residential area. If you have a car, not a problem as it is a quick drive into the centre, but not suitable if you don't have a car while visiting.
