Our stay in Tropea
Great central location in downtown Tropea. Terrible to get too if you have a car. Paid parking was very expensive. Views were magnificent from our balcony. Air conditioning was great and we didn’t really care for the breakfast that was provided. Going back we’d stay out of downtown next time.

Die Lage des B&B ist perfekt, direkt über dem Meer und trotzdem ist man nach ein paar Schritten mitten in der Altstadt. Der Blick aus dem Zimmer ist grandios, das klare Wasser, der saubere Strand und Stromboli verführen immer wieder zu neuen Fotos aus dem Fenster. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, das italienische Frühstück völlig ausreichend, und alles ist sehr sauber. Was will man mehr.

Das B&B liegt mitten im Zentrum der historischen Altstadt von Tropea. Das ist bei einer Autoanreise ev. unpraktisch, für Zugsanreisende aber sehr gut. Und während des Aufenthalts hat man wortwörtlich vor der Tür die ersten Bars und Restaurants. Das B&B hat nur wenige Zimmer (wir haben 6 gezählt). Per WhatsApp wird man schon vor der Ankunft kontaktiert und kann auch über diesen Kanal jederzeit Fragen stellen. Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig und vielseitig. Das absolute Highlight ist aber der Blick aus dem Zimmer, sofern man eines mit Meerblick gewählt hat. Alleine dafür lohnt es sich zu zahlen. Gleich vor dem Hotel geht es steil runter zur Küste. Das heisst auch, dass man die bodenhohen Fenster jederzeit offen lassen kann. Einschlafen und Aufwachen bei Meeresrauschen! Einschränkungen gibts höchstens für das teilweise nicht ganz so perfekt in Schuss gehalten Interieur (die WC-Türfalle z.B.) und das nicht sehr bequeme Bett (zu kurz, zu weich)

Gentile Cliente, la ringraziamo per la recensione. La nostra struttura si trova in pieno centro storico e questo è un dettaglio che tutti i nostri clienti sanno ancor prima di arrivare. Naturalmente, a chi ce lo chiede espressamente, ribadiamo con chiarezza questa caratteristica spiegando anche come raggiungerci al meglio e dove sistemare la macchina. Ci dispiace, ma naturalmente il valore aggiunto di essere in pieno centro storico, peraltro in posizione prestigiosissima sul famoso affaccio di Tropea, implica questa peculiarità ma crediamo che la posizione valga assolutamente la necessità di trovare un parcheggio adiacente e non immediatamente sotto l'edificio. Prendiamo nota delle sue restanti osservazioni che comunque saranno annoverate tra i giudizi utili per un costante monitoraggio della qualità dei servizi resi ai clienti, anche se le assicuriamo che la colazione,curata nel dettaglio dal personale, è un servizio solitamente molto apprezzato. Spectacular views from a room !!!
The woom with a sea view is simply spectacular. Its panoramic views made me to stay in a room for a long time. The manager called me before I arrived for sure and she was really welcoming. Location is at the edge of the cliff in the beach and you can even see the Stromboli volcanic island from the room. Stay here in Tropea.

Super Hotel, nicht günstig aber es lohnt sich. Das B&B liegt mitten in der Altstadt. Sehr freundliches Check-In (vorher Termin vereinbaren!). Für italienische Verhältnisse gutes Frühstück, liebevoll zubereitet. Unbedingt Zimmer mit Meerblick buchen. Der Blick ist unbezahlbar. Das B&B liegt mitten in der Altstadt. Daher könnte ein Zimmer nicht Richtung Meer etwas laut sein. Die Klimaanlage hat leider nicht funktioniert, jedoch konnte man mit offenem Fenster schlafen und mit dem Meeresrauschen einschlafen und aufwachen. Empfehle jedem dieses Hotel. Parkmöglichkeiten gibt es keine!

Beautiful overlooking the beach
this place was beautiful! Our room overlooked the beach and old church on top of the apostle, truly stunning location. The hotel is well maintained and has all facilities you'd need. Down side is that check-in requires that you contact them before arriving to give an arrival time, and no matter how many times we called the only number provided we could never actually get through. These guys need to get an email address asap! Also the entrance to the building had insufficient lighting and on our way back in my mother sprained her ankle which was disappointing. However overall we loved this place and do recommend it.

After booking this hotel with Hotels.com months ahead of time, we were told 10 days before our trip that they were oversold - during the off-season at Tropea, Italy? We were relocated to another hotel further from the beach. When we got to town we discovered that all the tourist excursions were closed for the season, as were many of the restaurants and stores. So how could the hotel have been oversold? Pretty disappointed in their lack of honoring of our early booking.

Perfect view perfect stay
We spent one night in Tropea traveling to Sicily and this town was the perfect stop. Isabella was so welcoming, the room was so beautiful and the location could not be any more perfect. If you're driving, go to the hotel first to drop off your bags (you will have to climb ~20 steps so pack sparingly) because you'll have to park a couple of blocks away. Overall fantastic stay.

Nettes B&B in der Mitte von Tropea
Sehr freundliches B&B. Am Anfang erstmal an der Pforte anrufen, die Dame kam sofort und hat uns im ersten Stock ins B&B gebracht. Zimmer und Bad ausreichend. Frühstück mit selbstgebackenen Kuchen (sehr zu empfehlen). Alles sauber und mit Klimaanlage. perfekt. zum strand hin und zum Hafen wie üblich in Tropea nur durch Treppen, aber das ist ja normal dort.
