Great view from room. Enjoyed small farm atmosphere with the chicken and goats. Very quiet. Large room with fridge, microwave, tv, and some extras thrown in. Mike makes a fabulous breakfast. Different each day.

Super ausgestattete kleine Wohnung mit einem großen Garten und tollem Ausblick. Der Besitzer des B&B macht jeden Morgen ein großartiges Frühstück mit Eiern vom eignen Bauernhof.

On arrive dans une ferme avec vie sur l'océan Pacifique. Les propriétaires sont super sympa. Dommage pour nous on parle presque pas anglais donc pas beaucoup d'échange. Le petit déjeuner qui est inclus fait maison et copieux comme on ne fait pas en France. La partie de la maison qui été pour nous est supérieure grand

Wonderful hospitality and the BEST breakfasts! When we arrived and saw the view from our patio, we were in awe. Interacting with the animals was great fun for our kids.

Lovely place to spend the night. We saw hummingbirds and deer and spent many hours watching the ocean from the windows. The breakfast was amazing. Very comfortable place to stay and would do so again in the future.

My stay at Gordon's Beach Farm B&B was wonderful. I was welcomed not only by Diane upon arrival but also the hens and goats. Mike cooked two fabulous breakfasts for me. It was a very peaceful place to stay and would definitely recommend to others.

I wanted to let you know that we have a new hotel tax introduced last Oct and of course the gst ... So the rate of $120.00 jumps to $135.60 once we collect the tax on behalf of the Government of 8 % and 5%... I am not sure if you realized that so just wanted to clarify....

I did not feel welcome right off the introduction to the gentleman of the property. He wanted for me to pay cash up front because he was concerned with making sure they got their money.. this place also does not cater to a guy who gets up early, with regard to breakfast. Six am was too early for farmers, they should just call it bed and take out the breakfast part..

We are truly sorry you did not feel welcome here ! It has always been our policy as well as most hotels and B&B's to collect payment at time of check in... As far as your 6am breakfast, we did supply you with homemade granola, fresh fruit and a breakfast sandwich, juice etc. which we put in your room the night before. On your last night we did ask you if you would be here for breakfast as we knew you did not work that day and you declined so we again made you a care package breakfast and placed it in your cooler.. It seems the communication got lost somewhere.. Our goal is to have every guest leave as a happy and contented guest.

Gordon's Beach Birthday Getaway
Our stay at Gordon's Beach Farm Stay was very enjoyable. Our suite was well appointed with every amenity you might need, including an option to purchase wine if you forgot to stop at the store. The view was spectacular and it was fun hanging out with the chickens and goats. Our dog loved playing with Nelly, the resident pup who is very friendly. I would definitely stay here again.

Friendly& helpful staff, the cottage is clean providing the property is on a farm. The view of the ocean at the cottage was partialy blocked by the tree. The property is not directly infront of the water. We need walk at least 15 min across the highway to the beach.

Hi, Thank you for your review.....I am glad you found the Cabin clean.. We just recently renovated and it is now much larger.. The tree gives our goats the shade they need but we have cleared a fair amount in other areas. The other 2 Suites in the main house do offer 180 degree view of the Ocean for future reference..

Amazing stay!!
Torrie and I stayed here for 2 evenings and right from the time we arrived until the times we left we enjoyed every minute of this place. From the great hospitality, fun loving goats, yummy breakfasts each morning, very comfortable bed and not to mention the amazing views I would definitely recommend Gordon’s beach farm stay. We cannot wait to come back and enjoy the 5 pm goat walk.

Hotel is excellent - clean, very nice people
I spent a night at this hotel when I rescheduled my flight and had to check out of original hotel. Initially, I was concern about the 1 hour drive from the hotel to the airport in the morning since my flight was 5:45 am. When I met the owner and expressed my concerned she was willing to let me choose another hotel if the drive was an issue. I instantly noticed that these people are not into this business solely for the money. Naturally they are very nice couple. I felt at home. The man made me a special home made delicious dinner - A very good cook. The hotel is very clean. The supplies were environmentally friendly. I felt I was in my own home. I wished I was going to spend some more days with this couple. I will recommend this place to everyone who visits the the Victoria area. It is more than worth the drive....

Excellent West Coast B&B
Enjoyed a restful stay and genuine West Coast hospitality. Great nutritious breakfasts made with care and eggs courtesy of resident free range chickens! Great location close to Sooke and base to explore Vancouver Island's SW coast.

Great B&B stay with super friendly owners. Breakfast was made with fresh eggs from chickens raised in the backyard. Oceanfront view and quiet neighbourhood. Two thumbs up!

We enjoyed our experence very much..our hosts were great..the cabin nice. I really wanted the outdoor fire pit thats one of the reasons i booked this place..but the wood was wet so we couldent enjoy that aspect of it..i would suggest dry wood for the guests to use i was dissappointed about it but other than that it was great!

Fantastic room overlooking the water
Room was very comfortable, fantastic bed and amazing sheets and pillows. A while wall of Windows provided a stunning view off the sunset over the water. Courteous hosts. Chickens and goats provide interest. My dog was made welcome.

Excellent B&B
wonderful view, nice surroundings...VERY COMFORTABLE BED...really hated to get up for breakfast...breakfast was excellent, an way more food than i could eat. Loved the hens wandering around..every once in awhile a hen would peek in at me when i had the door open. Goats were friendly and fun. Loved Nelly the dog she just wagged. It was a bit farther out of sooke than i thought it was...I wanted to go to a function...I decided to not go, stay put and enjoy the view. For anyone in that general area, it is a lovely place to sat. Hosts were very friendly, breakfast was excellent. Great place to go and explore the area...

Some great hiking to be had
We were travelling the scenic loop and taking in some sights and trails and stayed here for one night. Comfortable bed pleasant views across the property to the water in the distance. Breakfast was very tasty. We drove into Sooke for dinner and ate at Route14. Delicious cod special and pork tenderloin and friendly barman.

Nice quiet place.
Enjoyed our stay. Cell service was sketchy or non-existent most times but Wifi worked. The goats were very entertaining.

Stayed in the cottage which was clean and owners were very nice. Only downfall was it was too hot inside with no airflow. Had to go into town to buy a fan to try and cool down. Other than that the stay was nice with lots to do in the area. Goats were cute and was very quiet and relaxing.

Lovely view, fun little farm, nicely set up suite, comfy bed, plentiful standard breakfast, noisy from caretakers above us (from an audio sensitive person).

Cozy and quaint getaway with a view !
This B&B had a true feel of the family cabin. We stayed in the cottage and it was lovely. Not fancy but cozy. It was clean and the kitchenette made it easy to prepare meals. We were 3 and a baby and it was a bit tight but lovely nonetheless. The pullout couch slept one adult but would not do for 2 so it would be max 3 adults best with 2 in the queen size bed and kids on the pullout. It was very fun to feed the goats that are just outside our front door and the view of the Juan de Fuca Strait is amazing from the attached patio. You need to bring in your groceries as town is around 15-20 minutes drive away but if you are looking for a cozy and private retreat with rustic charm - this is the place for you! I would return as the staff were courteous , the facility was clean and the character of the place was second to none. No cellular coverage here but wifi was strong from the cabin and it was very quiet and relaxing plus the Sooke area offers some unique opportunities to explore ( potholes , little Vienna bakery , sea salt production facility , honey mead distillery , local island artisans for pottery and woodwork)

Very quiet and restful night's stay. Breakfast was wonderful. Very pet friendly. Our dog Lady made a life time friend with Nellie, the B&B greeter. Don't miss the fainting goats.
