We booked the hotel thinking it looked good on the outside. When we got there to check in, there were strangers to us walking around the outside of the facility or sitting on the stairs etc. The strangers looked dangerous to us and made us uncomfortable so we decided not to stay and went across the street to the Budget Inn.

I was scared checking into the room. Room had no hot water and toilet was clogged. Smelled bad. Red bodily stains on the walls. Not maintained.

Waited 1 hour to get checked in. Rooms are disgusting. Dirty and yellow linen and towels. Door does not secure. Extremely dirty everywhere. Smells like drugs. Mice found inside the room. In the morning my car window was broken into. Very unsafe.

I will never stay here again. This place was filthy!!!! The TV didn't work. Half of the outlets and lights worked. There were gang bangers and drug dealers everywhere.I had to leave early because I just couldn't take it. I would have gladly kept my money and slept in my car if I would have known that's where I was going to stay.

DO NOT GO PLEASE!!
My stay was awful, terrible and I did not stay the two days booked. I had to get out of there because of the trash and contamination. Everything broken, missing or didn't work. Couldn't hear the T.V over the air conditioner. The place is ALL wrong. Needs to be torn down. I'll never go here again. PLEASE DON'T STAY AT THIS MOTEL!!!!

I’ve stayed in numerous run down hotels in my life but, they were at least CLEAN. This place is filthy!!!!!! The room reeked!! The carpet was stained with what I don’t want to know!! It’s probably the reason the room reeks so badly. There was no towels, no soap or shampoo and no tv remote!!! The local dregs of society were yelling at each other until after midnight! If you’re looking for a quiet, clean and peaceful sleep/stay, this isn’t it!!!!! If you’re on an extremely tight budget then this place might do. Make sure to wear socks AND slippers!!!!!!!!!!!!

The room did not look clean and the bed linen was stained. Not sure if it had been changed. A plastic sheet was fitted between the mattress and sheet which is always a bad sign. Also a strange smell in the room. The property appeared to have some long term residents and children living there. However they all appeared friendly and polite. After I checked in a gentleman followed me outside and warned me to be careful and not to open my bedroom door as people would probably be knocking on it during the night. Shortly after taking my luggage to my room from my car another gentleman came to my room and advised me to stay in my room and keep the door locked. I then heard two ladies outside having a serious argument which became quite disturbing. I then made the decision to leave the property as I did not feel comfortable in spending the night there. I checked on Expedia website and did notice the rating was 4 which is an indication all is not well here. I would not recommend this motel to normal travellers. I used Expedia to find another motel close by which turned out to be very good and met my expectations.

Unbelievably BAD!!
Went to check in. Walked i in the office. No one there. Called twice on my mobil. Heard it ring and ring and ring. No answer, no answering machine. I walked the parking lot. No employee found. Left went elsewhere, now I want a refund and Hotels.com has been of no help. Very bad experiences with this hotel and website. My advice - stay away from both!

It looked like they had a lot of people living there! Room and toilet were dirty and sticky! I would not recommend this place except to single men that just want a cheap place to stay! Did I say cockroaches? Expedia, you really wanted to delete this place! 0 out of 5 stars!

Was very dirty and room stunk with an odor. Main office was messy with trash around. I left and did not stay there. I did not ask for a refund because it was a nasty place. Definitely not worth the $54 dollars I lost paying for the room

It was dirty, unsanitary and when we tried to get a refund we were charged more than what we booked the room for.

It met all my needs. The only issue I had was that their printer was down and there was trouble pulling up my reservation. The reservation should have been accessed from a computer instead of having me get my laptop and connect to their wifi, etc.

This is the worst hotel I have ever seen. We had to stay somewhere else. Literally had duct tape on the floor where the wood is separating. This place is being overrun by homeless people. The stench of human waste in and around the buildings made me sick.

Great place to stay, convenient, good price, safe
Family trip on the way to Vegas. Check in was very smooth. The lady that checked me in was very nice. I was offered upstairs or downstairs, and I chose downstairs so that we didn't have to lug our stuff up stairs. The unit was right in front of where our car was parked, so that was very helpful. Unit was clean. It's an older motel, so some of the features were a little dated, but everything was functional, which is what matters most. Bathtub and toilet were clean and worked well. Sheets were nice and white, and each bed came with fluffy pillows. The heater worked amazingly well. I had an issue with the TV (remote and box weren't syncing), so I called the front office, and they had a gentleman come over right away and fix it. Motel was right on the main drag of Barstow, but it wasn't loud at all. Plus, there's a Dennys on the same side of the street, only a 5 minute walk away, so that's very convenient. Internet was very fast and connected right away. I was able to watch You Tube videos with no issues. Microwave and large fridge worked well. Overall, we felt safe. Didn't hear a bunch of loud neighbors or see sketchy people. For the price, you really can't beat it. Would definitely stay here again. Out of 10 possible points, I'd give this place a 7.5. It'd get a higher score if it has a spa and also a continental breakfast (but then the price would be higher, so I guess you can't have everything in life). Overall, great stay.

We arrived here and looked very old and dirty outside, but when we enter inside the room was worst. They din't change the sheets and we found food residue between the sheets! One bed had a big ball in the middle of the bed!!! I found cigarette ashes on the nightstand and food residue on the furniture in front of the beds. Total disappointment, I don't recommend it for families. It looks very nice in the photos on expedia, don't be fooled. When we arrived there, some people were yelling at each other outside. I really wanted to cancel this place but Expedia said payment is not refundable when I booked!!!
