Wir waren zum zweiten Mal in diesem Grätzlhotel und mögen es wirklich sehr. Die Umgebung, das Zimmer an sich, der easy Check-in, etc. Leider war es dieses Mal nicht ganz so sauber geputzt. Dass der Boden (vorallem der Teppich) nicht ordentlich gesaugt war, davon könnte ich noch absehen. Aber vom Vorgänger Spuren in der Toilette zu finden, ist nicht ok.

Comfy room near centre, but has a few oddities
A Great little neighbourhood, only 15 min walk to centre of vienna. this place was a cross between an aparthotel and an airbnb. we received instructions for how to access the key, and let ourselves in. Lots of little details were thought of in the room (coffee maker, literature on vienna, etc). I would say that the english language instructions could be improved for getting the key and the location of the room, and it took us a while to figure out how to turn on the heat. But the room itself was very nice and comfy - with the one odd exception. It was a redeveloped shopfront at street level - so the entire front wall was windows. There were two rows of curtains, so once drawn you didn't feel it, but it still seemed a bit odd - if this would bother you, then it might not be for you.

Sehr gut gefallen hat uns die Lage der Unterkunft, die Idee der Umwandlung von ehemaligen Ladenlokalen in Unterkünfte, die nette und originelle Einrichtung, die Ausstattung mit kleiner Küchenzeile und Kaffeemaschine. Nicht gefallen hat uns, dass nur alle drei Tage sauber gemacht wird. Beim Preis der Unterkunft sollte dieser einzige Service täglich inkludiert sein. Ferner stank es leider ziemlich aus der Dusche, aus dem Kanal. Die Kaffeemaschine funktionierte nicht richtig. Das Bett recht unbequem und mit Bettzeug wie im Winter und das bei 30° im Hochsommer! Klimaanlage...?

Auch unser Reinigungspersonal ist für kleine Notfälle immer stets auf Achse und kümmert sich um Kleinigkeiten wie Abflüsse, Bettzeug oder Kaffeemaschinen. Schade, dass es so holprig gelaufen ist. Wir hoffen, dass wir Sie trotzdem wieder bei uns begrüßen dürfen.

The concept for this is accommodation is interesting it’s like an easy style hotel there is no reception you have a code and this enables you to take your key from a safe on the wall However unwelcoming this May seem the accommodation was very modern stylish comfortable and clean the room was very large as it is a shop conversion its was a comfortable place to stay and was very well priced for Vienna it is a great location walking distance to everywhere we had a problem with a smelly shower drain and the phone number to contact the staff was very helpful they offered us another room immediately and gave us a complimentary bottle of wine and beers I would stay here again

They rejected the changing of towels and bed making. We stayed two nights, so it was tough to use the same towels three days consecutive, and I wanted them to do bed making even once during our stay.

A gorgeous place to stay in Vienna
We had a truly excellent 3 night stay at the wonderful and unique Graetzlhotel Karmelitermaerk, in the beautifully appointed “lamplighter” suite. There’s no mismatch between the property’s photos and the reality here: tasteful, groovy decor, superb shower and bathroom, well appointed kitchenette (abundant Nespresso pods are always a winner!) and large and super-comfortable bed. It’s like having your own little apartment in a nice, quiet area, only a slight distance away from Vienna’s tourist throng. The tram is 2 mins walk away, and the metro about an 8 minute walk away; there’s a Billa supermarket on the same street as the suite, selling everything you’ll need. The check-in / check-out process is wonderfully easy: keys are retrieved from a pin-secured box around the corner and on check out we just left the keys on the table and closed the door behind us. Can’t recommend this place enough (and they have a few properties around Vienna. We’re already planning a return visit and can’t imagine not staying at a Graetzlhotel property. Highly recommended.

Preis-Leistung stimmt in jedem Fall.
Es hat alles sehr gut. Neu für uns war, dass wir keine Rezeption vorfanden. Per Mail erhilten wir einen Coode den wir an einem Schlüsselspender eingeben mussten. Die Wohnung fanden wir sofort. Die Lage der Unterkunft war sehr gut. Ca 3-4 Minuten zur Trammhaltestelle (2) die uns nahe ans Zentrum brachte. Das Wetter war sehr schön. Wir freuen uns jetzt schon wieder auf einen Aufenthalt in Wien.

très bonne adresse mais avec des contraintes
La chambre était très spacieuse et très agréable. Le quartier est très vivant et agréable. Le seul problème est l'absence de réception. On ne peut par exemple pas arriver et déposer ses bagages avant l'heure d'enregistrement ou les laisser à la réception après l'heure de départ.

Fantastic little apartment. Well equipped and in a great location. Friendly bars and restaurants really close by. Short walk into the centre of town. Only slight quibble is that the pillows are too soft!

Sehr schön und modern eingerichtetes Apartment in einem ehemaligen Ladengeschäft mit direktem Zugang zur Straße. Die innere Stadt sowie der Prater sind zu Fuß zu erreichen oder mit den vor Ort verfügbaren Fahrrädern noch schneller.

This is sort of a cross between a hotel and an AirBNB but I didn't totally realize that. If you want some of the amenities of a hotel (aka staff on premises, or an on-site luggage storage area) you're out of luck. I communicated with one of the staff through the app and he tried to find a solution to my luggage storage problem but refused to give me a refund when I said I'd rather just find new accommodations. So that wasn't great. Not wanting to lose money, I sucked it up and stayed here. My room was right on the street so I was able to hear street noise and no one informed me that there would be a full-blown film shoot taking place right outside my room. I'm from LA where shoots need permits and people are informed about it. If the hotel was informed, they didn't tell me about it. So I had to push past the film crew to get into my room. That said, the room was lovely. It was expertly decorated and super funky. I liked the location overall.

Secluded location yet close to city centre.
Quiet and spacious room within easy reach of transport and places to eat. Staff at the remote reception were very helpful and courteous. Would recommend as a great location for a city break in Vienna.

Hübsches Apartment im Hof gehabt, war ruhig und sehr schön. Hatten vergessen das Sofa zu beziehen, da wir zu dritt waren. Nach nem kurzen Telefonat wurde dies schnell nachgeholt. Sauber und süß eingerichtet, alles so wie auf dem Bildern, Hemd wieder!!

Wonderful hotel concept. It feels like living local with all the comfort of a hotel room. The are has good restaurants and is in close walking distance to Vienna attractions.

Für diese Preisklasse ist der Service lausig. Zimmer waren bei Ankunft nicht fertig (erst ca. eine Stunde später). Duschwasser hat das ganze Bad unter Wasser gesetzt. Keine Rezeption.

Lovely unique 'hotel' concept
We stayed in the suite which used to be a light shop. We loved the concept from the start and it was a great experience! We were located in the market and the U-Bahn was only 5 minutes from our suite which was perfect. We also found a great Jazz club which was about 10 minutes walk from our suite. The room was great - we think the only things were that the door to the shower was see-through and we were two friends travelling so it was just something to note but it was ok! The other thing was the shower, it had two heads but only one worked all the time - it may have meant to be like that but it was ok! The suite came with all the facilities we could have wanted and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!! We really enjoyed the recomendations provided, we went to Mochi and Cafe Mima - the pizza place wasn't that great but the wine bar made up for it on the way home! We had a great stay and we were very impressed - we look forward to returning and trying a different suite. Many thanks!

Its ok , but lacke of service
The concept is interesting 100% selfservice but is you have any issue no one answer emails, they also should have a place to leave your luggage if you arrive earlier than the check in hour.
