I love staying at the Weinhard and greatly appreciate the preservation of this small slice of history. Beautifully appointed with antiques and lovingly restored, the hotel celebrates the history of its founder and his place in the community with photographs and narratives. I love the little extras, like delicious chocolates and ever available coffee and tea. We stay whenever going through the area and greatly enjoy the friendly service and warm, inviting atmosphere.

Great quiet atmosphere. Easy check in. Good communication. Very nice rooms ( antique furniture). Late breakfast and extra cost but coffee available early. Within walking distance of town for easy good dinner.

Nicely renovated older property with old time charm. We stayed while visiting family for Thanksgiving and the lobby was beautifully decorated in Victorian style for the holidays. Nice extra touchs like chocolates on arrival and a nice bottle of local Cabernet on departure. Would definitely stay here again.

Time traveling
The Weinhard Hotel was a beautiful place to stay. We loved the small town feel and the uniqueness of the hotel. Chris was so attentive and super friendly and we felt immediately like it was home. It was an awesome time traveler stay.

I stayed two separate weeks at the Weinhard Hotel. The first week I had a bit of an issue with the employee. Upon arriving there was only one employee available and he was asleep. It took about 30 minutes until he woke up. Once he woke up he was extremely confused and not helpful at all. However, the second week I was helped by someone different who was extremely helpful and kind. They apologized for the inconvenience the week before. Overall it’s a comfortable place to stay, very clean and has all the necessities you need.

Best stay in Dayton we have ever had...
Probably one of the best hotel stays we have ever had. It was our anniversary and they went above and beyond to fulfill our requests..the hotel staff is great. What a great find! I came to visit my brother who lives locally, and this place was perfect and charming, and Christina could not have been more friendly or accommodating. She is a gem, and so is her hotel! Will definitely stay again on my next visit out.

A beautiful hotel in Dayton, Washington
Christina (one of the owners) was an exceptional hosts. She was very professional, helpful, kind, and friendly. The hotel is a very fine B&B. A city park and museum behind the hotel. An excellent rooftop deck for enjoying the morning, midday, and evening. Even a Saturday night trivia game.

They have a roof top patio i would of like to have known about. It has a fire pit. Sat up there in the morning. Just beautiful. The histiry is just awsome.

This is a beautiful old property. In-room amenities are basic, as they tend to be at old hotels, but the room was beautiful, furnished with antiques, and the bed was unbelievably comfortable. The common areas are lovely too, again with antiques everywhere. Staff was friendly, and texts from the hotel were helpful. At the time we stayed everything was quiet but I can see that it might be noisy during busy times. Probably not an ideal place for young kids. If I am passing through the area in the future I will gladly stay again.

Stay was okay stay, but not enough to come back
This is a cute hotel. CONS: We walked in no workers or greeting. We had to find them in the bar to check in. The lobby is not air conditioned and it was 101 outside. The water bar only had more than ambient water. We had to lug our baggage upstairs (I recently had surgery). No offer of assistance and no lift. The bed frame squeaked if you rolled (enough to wake you up). Neighbors we loud until well past 11pm and no one insight to complain too. The hotel bar/cafe was not serving lunch/dinner as the electrical went out leaving us exactly 2 other opinions for food in town. It felt more like a hostel than a hotel, imo, but your paying hotel pricing. PROS: It’s a cute and historical with past photography. On-site free parking, plenty of plug ins for e’cars. The employees we met were polite just not overly eager to help. The “garden patio” was really cute with corn ball, fire pit and lots of seating. Bit it was just 101 degrees with direct sun so not a good day for it. There was a charming movie theater that had live piano player music playing for the intro advertising before the music across the street. This was the best part of the stay for us.

Loved this sweet boutique style hotel. The owner works her butt off & does such an amazing job. The breakfast provided was top notch(above & beyond any normal continental breakfast). The room was gorgeous & well kept. Our favorite part was the roof top deck. We played corn hole & really enjoyed the space.

We really enjoyed the the preservation of time period architecture and decorations. The staff is very friendly, complimentary breakfast was excellent. We will definitely be going back. Highly recommend!if you are looking for a nice evening

Loved the ambiance, the authenticity, the experience was a treat. We note that some rooms are upstairs w/o an elevator. In our case the internet did not work. Regardless, a unique hotel well worth a visit! The small restaurant and gift shop are tastefully done.

The hospitality of the staff was incredible! They were helpful and kind. We were pleasantly surprised to get complimentary wine, chocolate and breakfast. It was unique, clean and we will definitely return! Also easy parking, which is always a plus.

Good overnight trip
Our stay was nice, we did have trouble getting comfortable on the bed, but of course everyone has a different preference. The bedding was very comfortable. The Jet tub worked great and the room was spacious and temperature was nice. We do wish there was a microwave in our room so we didnt have to go downstairs to use the community one, but it wasn't a deal breaker. However breakfast was very filling and delicious. Overall a nice stay.

Hidden Gem with a lot of History
My partner and I had a wonderful time at the Weinhard Hotel and wished that we would have stayed more than 1 night! Sev and Christina we very friendly and helpful during our stay and we appreciated all of the little touches that made the hotel feel special.

Well Kristina mischarged my personal credit card for the entire cost of the room, which was paid thru hotels.com This was very unprofessional, and she did not notify me, I had to call her. I won’t be staying there again.

I have stayed here many times. This is the first time I have stayed under new ownership. It was lovely. I was pleasantly surprised to see charging stations for electric vehicles. The rooms are spotless and the free breakfast was at the cafe next door. Wonderful. I even got a free bottle of local wine on my checkout day.

Absolutely horrendous customer service. Rude, demanding and bossy! Nothing is high end. Non existent continental breakfast. Tubs don’t drain. Check out is 11am and check in is 4pm. We were rushed to check out at 10:30am so they could close for the day. Talked down to with every interaction. Female owner left a 7 paragraph nasty response on google. Will never return. Really missing the old owners. Felt like crap being belittled and talked down to with every interaction.’c especially considering how much we spent with them. Rooms are way over priced. Short busy body with zero customer service skills. Lobby smells bad and they lie about occupancy to upsell rooms.

I liked the historic nature of the property. High ceilings, oak furnishings outdoor deck. There was street noise, but not that bad.

My stay at the Weinhard Hotel was most enjoyable. The staff were all very helpful, attentative and friendly. Breakfast was delicious!!! Rooms charming and comfortable. Sweet atmosphere.
