New carpets, new paint, new beds, new cutlery and crockery, new flat screen TVs, new linen, new towels, new decor, new throw rugs but it “badly needs refurbishment” This is a unique situation we find ourselves in with reviews… older folks who grew up with this decor expect it to be modernised BUT we have worked our butts off to preserve the 1966 original character but AlL refurbished. Lost on you clearly but that’s ok. We can’t please everybody. Glad we could get extra staff on to facilitate your (and others) early check in though to ensure you got to your event on time.

Hi Tom, you paid 298 for TWO nights in the summer peak / school holidays in a tourist town. I think if you want better value than that you just need to go a LOT further from the city, or a non tourist town, or maybe take advantage of the non-peak periods.
