Comfortable and relaxing, great food!
We had a wonderful couple of days at Morton Manor. The hotel is beautiful and very comfortable, and the staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. The food is amazing - worth coming for that alone! We'll definitely be back, thanks for a great stay, it was just what we needed!

Lovely old manor house which is tastefully decorated if quirky. Stayed in summer but noticed windows not double glazed so may not be quite so comfortable in winter. Dinner was excellent

This was a lovely hotel to stay in, the staff so helpful and friendly. Although no lift they offered to take our cases up stairs- we are over 70!. Hotel full of atmosphere. Just a couple of minutes walk form the Castle!

Morton's Manor was fabulous, from when we arrived to when we left. The room was quiet, bed and linen to the highest quality. Breakfast delicious and hot. Staff were on hand, happy and friendly. Beautiful Manor and surrounding area and right in the middle of Corfe Castle so easy access to everything on offer. Would definitely be staying again. Thank you.

Very conveniently located to the historic Corfe Castle, within easy walking distance. Beautiful unspoilt village full of interesting architecture. Very welcoming staff, lovely room and excellent service. Would certainly return.

This is a hotel of very good quality. The food was very good indeed, the rooms sparkling and neat, the staff friendly and approachable. The only slight misgiving would be that the lounge armchairs are too low for older people. We would heartily recommend this hotel. Well done!

Nice stay
Nice location, very clean and comfortable beds. I found out that we paid 40 pounds per night more than our friends who booked directly with the hotel. The breakfast was good, but burned toast and salty hot cooked meal. We were not able to book a table for dinner as they were full. A warm welcome greeting as you check in, can live in your imagination. No, “welcome to….”, “how was your journey here?”, “did you travel far to get here?”, “would you like a glass of water?”, “would you like a tour of the property?”….you greet them, fill up a form, are given a key and off you go.

Great hotel & a gorgeous spot; beware the candles
This is a lovely hotel, in a beautiful location. Step outside and you have a wonderful view of Corfe Castle and, looking around, a pretty good idea of where those missing castle stones ended up. The room was comfortable and well-lit (always important). I found convenient power points, too. My only problem concerned the number of candles distributed around the restaurant. The food was truly excellent, but I started to feel ill and I believe the candles were responsible. I may have an allergy to that kind of candle.

Superb Purbeck treat
Mortons Manor is an elegant, under-stated hotel with good amenities in the heart of iconic Corfe Castle and excellently situated for the Isle of Purbeck. Great service from all staff. Good bar, lounge, and breakfasts.

We had a friendly welcome, our room was very comfortable and nothing was too much trouble to the well trained staff who seemed to like working at the hotel and providing guests with a pleasurable experience during their stay. The hotel has undergone a complete refurbishment recently, and that has been very well done.

Quality hotel
Excellent quality accommodation in a fantastic village with a outstanding restaurant. I would recommend booking the restaurant very early as it did get full, but thats the same with all good restaurant currently

Fabulous stay, staff friendly & helpful, food great, only one issue it was very hot weather & as windows were open all night could hear noise from some type of extractor running on roof next to window. Otherwise perfect.

Hidden Gem?
A hidden gem. This has a lower star rating probably because the rooms aren't air conditioned, no fridge etc. but if you get get over that, this hotel is modern but without losing any of its considerable character. Staff very helpful and attentive. Room excellent and fresh. Atmosphere sophisticated. Food superb! We would definitely go back.

Perfect location to explore area. Recently refurbished bathrooms are modern with traditional look, shower excellent. Lovely traditional oak lounge and bar perfect to relax in after a days walking, the log fire very atmospheric and warming. Staff attentive and very helpful. Food is outstanding.

Excellent old manor house hotel which has been decorated in period style. Spotlessly clean throughout and exceptionally well maintained. Very comfortable bed and well appointed bathroom. Both breadfast and dinner were of a very high standard served by extremly attentive staff. The location is superb and I cannot think of a single negative to say!

Staff were very friendly, especially the manageress. We only stayed for one night but will definitely be going back. Breakfast was freshly cooked and the evening meal was very tasty. Great room and we felt very welcome.
