We were immediately made to feel welcome by the friendly receptionist who upgraded us when she learnt the celebratory nature of our weekend in Bath. The only negative element of the entire experience was the lack of a hotel car park - a perennial problem in the city. The room was spacious and well designed. The air conditioning perfect! I had a very relaxing swim in the small but luxurious spa. And we relaxed over cocktails before going out to the streets of the ancient city to eat in superb restaurants and browse the spectacular tourist sites. This modern hotel is the perfect base for a trip to Bath without the pretensions of ‘Boutique’ hotels which tend to be stuffy and over priced.
Facilities good Clean and well equipped Poor point....NO BATH Only walk in shower Biggest gripe.....£115 for room NO BREAKFAST INCLUDED As I stay in lots of hotels around the country and the Stones Hotel is the first I Have stayed at that didn't include breakfast....hence my rating
