Above the average, quite satisfied. Breakfast was so so, but the hotel was roomy and near to the airport.

For me I require basically three things from my hotel stay. 1. A clean room ( no need for housekeeping during my stay I will maintain) 2. A great breakfast spread ( I need eggs, a protein, and fruit) 3. A roomy room ( I specifically picked this room because of the slight room divider and the ability for the tv to swivel). This hotel did great. I have opportunities for them: have at least one working elevator during guests stay, a working ice machine (possibly on multiple floors), and greet your guests when they come in. Other than that. As someone who loves a good hotel stay I will give you all a 3 out of 5. On the positive side due to no elevator I got my steps in quicker for the day 😊.

Upon first entering the hotel, we smelled some strong painting orders. The elevatory arrived was covered with painting tapes. When walking to our room, we found three hotel cleaning ladies huddled on the floor right outside our room. The room was clean but no one came to fresh the room or change towels. When asked, we were told that the room is only cleaned every three days.

This property was under renovation. The fire alarm went off one night 5 times for no reason staring 4 am. And then with lack of sleep the hotel continued with their instruction and drilling no consideration on what happened. And then they noticed there will be no water for few hours in the morning. We checked out of that hotel. Perhaps once the renovation is complete and they have a better management in place the place will get better but till then highly encourage for folks to stay away from this place

The hotel looked nice from the outside and the room. The building was under construction or renovation. They should have closed until it was done. 1. Noise from 8am to 6pm where you couldn't hear the person next to you. 2. Water off from 11am to 3pm 3. The Most Annoying... Fire Alarm went off 5xs within 24hrs. Including the fire dept. Coming out at 4am and we stood outside in the cold to be told nothing. We left after that could not take it anymore.

I stayed at this hotel Dec 28-29, and nothing about this hotel is good. It's really a disgusting experience. Loud noises, false fire alarms, terrible shuttle, irresponsible and unreachable manager... I don't recommend anyone to stay here. When I arrived at the airport, I called the hotel for pickup service as instructed(Actually I called them to schedule a pick-up in advance, but they told me only to call after arrival). They said the shuttle would come in 20 minutes, but I waited for 1 hour and 30 minutes until I found the shuttle (during which I called them several times). And the shuttle had "Hyatt Place Dulles South" on it, a completely different hotel. How can I know it's heading to my hotel with nobody telling me about this? If I didn't ask the driver whether it was heading to Hyatt Place Dulles, I'm afraid I had to wait for a longer time. Then, it's the most disgusting thing about this hotel. During a single night, four fire alarms happened on 5pm Dec 28, 4 am, 5 am, 6 am Dec 29. And everyone in the hotel was disturbed by these loud and uncomfortable beeping sounds in their sleep, and had to evacuate with nearly no clothes and bare foot, suffering in the cold wind of the midnight. The fire department later arrived, only to announce that each of the 4 alarms was falsely triggered. Then I asked for compensation, but the front desk only gave me a card with the manager's info. I emailed but had no response till now. Loud noises from renovation are disturbing, too.

While it was very close to the airport and a nearby metro station, the hotel was under construction which was very noisy. The staff were sweet and try to accommodate as much as possible. On one of the nights I stayed there, the fire alarm went off from 4am till about 7:55am which meant exiting the building several times when it was 30°F. They did not offer any compensation for the interruption that occurred with the fire alarm repeatedly going off or the constant construction noises. Overall, I would go back mainly for the staff but not when all that was going on.

I booked through Expedia and wasn’t told there was construction going on. There was drilling going on in the floor above. Also, the fire alarm went off 3 times within the 24 hours we were there, including at 4am and 6am On a positive note, the staff was very nice.

It was an eventful evening! There was nobody at the hotel desk for a while when we got there. Their key system was down so they had to manually escort us and every other guest to their rooms. Then the fire alarm goes off in the middle of the night, evacuating the entire building. Fire trucks came, we were cleared to go back in, but nobody had keys so we still had to wait for someone to let us back in. We tried to sleep for an hour, then the fire alarm went back off lol. Thankfully we had our bags ready to go the second time so we just left the building. Now we're at the airport!

Seems to be a preferred hotel for foreifn travelers before dulles flights. Being renovated. Comfortable and clean. Good breakfast. Big rooms. Couch and desk area.

Love the newly updated rooms...
I've been staying at this particular location for well over seven years now each time I'm in the area. I have to say that I loved the newly renovated look and feel of the rooms. While I know things are still a work in progress, I'd love to also see them finally get rid of those plasma screen televisions and add a microwave to each room now that the smaller sinks have been removed. Otherwise, all that additional counter space just seems wasteful. Keep up the great work...

Additional parking fees and not very clean.
Hotel charges you extra for parking. For you or any guests....in the suburbs? Also, the hotel uses a site that charges you for charging you for parking. Yes. You have to pay to pay for parking. An additional fee. Simply ridiculous. Plenty of better hotels in the dulles area with FREE parking to choose from. Skip this property. Also....the trash by the elevator was there before I arrived and it was still there when I left.
