Highly recommend this renovated gem in a great central DC location. Staff is most accommodating as they smooth out a few timely service deliveries. Bar not staffed by time of posted opening, so had an awkward 15 minute wait. Lovely boutique experience that will be 5 Star in a few months.

Hotel was unique with an cool interior courtyard. The staff was friendly, and everything was clean. Good location with stores and restaurants nearby. I ended up walking to the Capitol from the hotel, others may opt for transportation though. As for negatives, I felt that the bed wasn't as comfortable as other hotels, and getting to the front with your car can be a hassle due to the large volume of traffic. The traffic can also cause a lot of noise with the honking, again not the hotels fault. Price was very good and everything considered I give 5/5, it exceeded what I expected for the price.

Nice easy check in. Friendly staff and service. We did not get to eat breakfast at the Inn but everything was wonderfully decorated. Its was also nice to read a little history about the site in our welcome binders.

Wow, what a lovely place. The staff were warm and welcoming, the room was modern, clean and comfortable, and I also had a very tasty breakfast in the restaurant. Will definitely come back here next time I'm in DC!

Two doormen greeted me as I approached the entrance to this unique property with its Victorian/Asian architecture. Staff was extremely professional, location is great. Short walk to the Convention Center Mount Vernon Square Metro stop. There's a small bar in the lobby and seating areas for casual dining, and a gorgeous dining room for a more formal experience. My room was fine for me, a single traveler. The rainfall shower head gave a great massage! I highly recommend the inn. (I suggest Expedia swap the main pic - window shot - for an exterior that conveys a better sense of the hotel's charm).

As always we had a wonderful stay at the Morrison Clark. The staff is professional and attentive, the number one goal seems to be a pleasant visit for all of its guests. We will be back, it is our default hotel whenever we visit DC

Room was very pleasant, clean, comfortable and quiet. It could have used an extra lamp and I was disappointed to not have a coffee maker or tea kettle in the room. The staff was very helpful & pleasant. Overall, an excellent choice.

Great staff! Very professional and smooth check-in and out. The room was clean and comfortable. I attended a conference nearby, so I didn’t spend enough time enjoying the room and restaurant. Historic architecture but updated nicely! Much better than other hotels I have stayed in the area.

This is a beautiful property. My only issue with it is that the room is very tiny, more for a single person and not a couple. The bathroom was spacious.
