Overall Good, Wouldn’t Book Again
Overall it was a good hotel, the staff were courteous and there for you to help. The room was spacious. I only had one issue on lack of calrity about breakfast situation. I got the breakfast included option and when I got there they said it covers up to $60. When I got the bill later they charged me full amount, so I called and they said it only covers up to $30 and they would fix it. Lack of consistency and clarity is the reason I give them 4 stars and not 5

Great spot in Georgetown.
Loved the fireplace at cocktail hour. The free baked Alaska at 5 was a little odd. No one wanted it. Why not offer something more appropriate for that time of day?

This was a short two night break, the location was excellent and the hotel was good however as it had a private function going on we had to eat breakfast in the large reception area on the first morning.

I like the check-in experience, the valet parking service, the coffee station in the mornings, and the lobby. I didn't like that I had to check out one day earlier because my flight was going to be canceled due to weather conditions. The hotel management wasn't able to reimburse me for that night due to booking and prepaying through Expedia.

For a Ritz property (I have stayed at others), this was an underwhelming stay. The room did not have pillows and towels when we first checked in, it was rectified. The decor and feeling was average. The gym was very small and limited. We tried to get a cup of coffee at 10pm, and they said the coffee was brewed at 2pm and that was all we could get. The doorman did not open the door once for us, he was on his phone. Some things mentioned are small and trivial, but for a Ritz property, I expect better service and facilities. The location was great and central though in Georgetown. I am not sure if I would stay at this property again.

Great location near Washington Harbor, quite, and not too far to the attraction places, including restaurants. The restaurant inside hotel has very limited option for dinner with a very high price. All staffs are friendly, professional and helpful. I will stay here again, but not dining in.

Spacious Luxury Suite in a Great Location
We booked a king suite for a 36th anniversary get-away but were given a complimentary upgrade to a premier corner suite (thank you!) which was enormous and very nice. Not really a criticism but the sitting room was so big it seemed slightly under-furnished. The location near the waterfront park and M Street is excellent; lots of places within walking distance. Coffee in the lobby was excellent and service was excellent. The doormen, parking valets, housekeeping and front desk staff were all friendly and helpful. Valet parking was free through Hotels.com but showed up on the bill; they removed it immediately when I brought it to their attention. The restaurant looked lovely but we didn't try it because it seemed expensive and there are so many interesting dining options in the area. Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful facility (despite a disappointing fitness center). However, we waited 30 min for our room despite checking in 90 min after check-in time. Three other parties were shown to their rooms as we waited. Staff was relatively indifferent. Not the typical Ritz-Carlton level of service recovery. Also, my in-room dining order (from a fairly limited menu) was incorrect (but kindly corrected upon my request). For the cost, two relatively surprising oversights with very little effort at service recovery by staff. Disappointing.

We had a lovely stay at the Ritz Georgetown! The staff was extremely kind & welcoming - even gave our doodle Etta James, the best welcome gift! Our only minor issue was that the room was very warm. Would definitely recommend!
