Of course, the business I work for sent me to CT for training and spared no expense, setting me up in this hooker trap of a motel. It was the non-smoking room and to be honest, the smoking room probably would’ve smelled better. The room looked like a ‘90’s New York studio apartment a struggling actor would move into, cause that’s all they could afford.
The room smelled musty and stale. The wall unit was a struggle to finally get working. Mix matched paints, chips in the trim and furniture, wood exposed. The towels had yellow stains on them. The couch had a white stain on it (I’ll let you use your imagination), cigarette burns on the sheets, the pillows felt that of staying the night at a frat house and to top it all off, the windows were all unlocked when I arrived.
Also, I didn’t use the free Wi-Fi because no, but Verizon users will get crappy service. But hey! At least the TV worked!
