I am surprised to hear that your mattress was uncomfortable. All of the mattresses were newly purchased. They are Simmons Beautyrest Black mattresses and we constantly get compliments for them. If you contact us directly, I would like to know what room you are in and inspect the mattress personally to see if it needs replacement. For safety reasons, the pool is only open when the front desk is opened. In the off-season, the desk and pool closes at 6:00pm. I am sorry that you had difficulty with the fire pit. We tested it and it works fine. Guests sometimes have difficulties lighting it. We may replace it with a different model for the 2023 season. Other than that, I hope you enjoyed your stay.
