Coin laundry was operated only till 8am to 8pm and breakfast option was very few. Diners club card was not accepted and you have to deposit even if you paid online.

Whole hotel needs an upgrade. Smells like an old hostel. Carpets lifting everywhere. Beds and bathroom was clean. Windows where very filthy and some wont open. No extractor fan in bathroom. I asked for trim milk and was told they will phone and organise. I never heard back or got anything. Not worrh the price. Very disappointed unfortunately

Simple, basic and budget, but was completely fine for our overnight stay and a great price. Decent sized rooms. Bed was comfortable. Towels and sheets were all clean. Could hear trucks driving past at night but wasn’t too bad. Good hot breakfast. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Printed some forms for our car hire, as well as stored our luggage after checkout while we explored and then let us use the lounge to change and get ready for our flight. Much appreciated.

Very convenient for Cuba Street. If you are buying an extra breakfast like we did (our daughter lives locally and joined us one morning) check what you're signing for. $28 for a bowl of cereal and a cup of tea is a bit much. The guy on reception didn't care - we'd signed for the full breakfast buffet.

Stairs to welcoming you before the reception. Horrible room 511, old, smells, have heaps of hair in the bed and pillows. Looks like the hotel you will stay and get bed bugs. Shower was broken, room is old, everything is old looks like a room for a museum and the bathroom come from the movie Bates Motel / Pyscho. You pay for the car parking, but they say you park there at your own risk. If someone break in they dont take any responsability for it. Breakfast was good. Stay away from the Willis Hotel. Have way better options for the same range of price.

Simple yet effective
Love this place, simple clean room. A little dated but absolutely fine for a short Wellington visit. Breakfast buffet is a great way to start the day.

Staff were amazing and friendly. Best to pay for parking at the hotel it’s easier. Breakfast was great and the host was super nice and accommodating to our family. Will definitely return in the future.

Staff was rude. Parking is basically none existent. Room was dirty and gross. I would never stay here again. I can’t believe hotels.com even aloud them to list this place. 0 out of 10

Hotel was easy to find and pre-arranged parking was excellent. Hall carpet was very worn and crumpled, and room carpet was in need of a clean. Great breakfast! Room decor was tired, with flaking paint in places. Lots of traffic noise in our room, but a super-comfortable bed enabled a good sleep. Overall an adequate room for a reasonable price.

I had psid for Quee room for three nifgtz.They fave me a sungle room that had a syench odour of curry and cooked food in the rpom a d pssage wsy.I made a complsint and was show a nicer queen rolm bu it had no phone a a missing light bulb.However the cleanjng tem were excellent and very courteous and the breakfast lady was very hospital ans her mwnu qualitu of breakfast foor was definitely 4 STAR Value. These two factors made my stay much better.However the female Indian receptionist at Check in, who gave me the first smelly room.She was deplorable and unprofessional.

Nice with a few niggles
Great staff especially in the dining room. Unfortunately there was a hair and a stain in my bed on arrival but was quickly rectified by desk staff. Hotel is looking a bit old especially bathrooms. Dining area is nice though. Entrance and rooms could do with s spruce up.
