I wish I had taken photos of the towels that were provided. White towels that had brown stains like they had been used for cleaning the floor. Or the filthy floors. Carpet that had crumbs, burns and spilled black paint. The newer, pretty, modern sink in the bathroom doesn’t “fix” all the other old, worn out and disgusting items in the bathroom. The shower was NOT clean, rather soap pieces and black smudges from grease or something similar. The nightstand looks pretty, however, leaning over to set my cup down, while laying in bed, revealed that the entire top of it was broke! Everything falling off and the lamp hitting my head. The overall condition of the hotel was in bad shape; covering up the old deteriorating interior with some cheap paint and newer hall lights as well as the exterior of the building having an abandoned look to it.
I wasn’t expecting Taj Mahal type accommodations, however, I was certainly expecting to have the basics of clean floors to walk on and towels to use that didn’t look like they were used to clean up the floors…that were definitely not clean.
