After checking in, we went to our room (#211) and it was cold. We set the thermostat on the unit to an appropriate temp (a note on the unit said to set between 75 & 80 which we thought was a bit high). We then went to our family function thinking that when we return the room would be very warm, there was no change. Increasing the temp made no difference, unit continued to blow cold air. I went to the desk and reported the problem. The guy came up and tried to make it work. No luck, said the unit needed to be replaced, but made no offer of a new room. I then said we needed blankets (34deg outside) and he said he'd send some up. A person came a few minutes later with one blanket (we had two queen beds-3 people) but said there were no more blankets. There were many people in the hotel and this was all there was. Apparently nobody had heat??
I also was surprised that the desk chair was a folding metal chair. Every other hotel I've stayed in would provide a comfortable office chair.
We were disappointed that the tables in the breakfast area were not clean. We were able to wipe the cleanest one off with a napkin.
