I was made to feel so welcome on arrival and throughout my stay. The inn is well positioned being so close to the centre and within easy walking distance to eating places and attractions.

Friendly, clean and comfortable
Great location, has the advantage of free parking. Very friendly staff. Room had all you need including complimentary drinks and toiletries.

Excellent breakfast. Friendly staff. Good location with on-site parking. Shower not so good and it would have been useful to have had a non-slip mat.

Recent stay at the Chichester Inn
Food was very good, had an evening meal albeit not a vast amount of choice, and breakfast. Staff were helpful and courteous.

Friendly little pub with nice beer garden. Good breakfast, comfortable room at a good price and free parking. Overall excellent value and very centrally located.

A lovely pub to stay in whilst in Chichester
A lovely place to stay, just a few minutes walk from town centre. Easy to find and with free car park just behind the pub. Pub has nice bar areas and garden. Friendly staff, lovely freshly cooked breakfast and comfy beds.

Really enjoyed staying at the Chichester Inn. Great location, very friendly staff and excellent service - especially breakfast served in the lovely garden. Room was OK - it had a brilliant sunny terrace which was great, room itself a bit basic but that's part of the inn character.

Lovely inn with parking and comfort
This is a typical pub inn with all the benefits of this type of venue. The owner and his children are very friendly and helpful - and provide a nicely cooked breakfast. My bedroom had a very comfortable bed, was clean and had a small balcony overlooking the beer garden. It is really well located and has easy parking.

Had a very nice visit, the property is well located, with easy parking had a good bar meal and very nice cooked breakfast.

The standard of cleanliness was less than satisfactory. I did not expect to have to clean urine off the toilet seat before using it. The landing carpet was something I would not walk on in bare feet. There was no drawer space available in the room, the cupboard in the corner of the room was full of junk including a toaster, an unopened set of net curtains, an oil filled radiator, a grubby bottle fridge. However even though the individual who checked us in was very helpful, we did not, due to the foregoing in respect of cleanliness and presentation, stay the night and drove home instead.

Very pleasant old Inn circa 1780's. Excellant service. Everyone very friendly and helpful. A chest of drawers in the room would have been useful. Ensuite sink tap needed tightening. Otherwise very comfortable. Excellant food, breakfast and meals. Would definitely go again to the Chichester Inn.

One night break with friends.
We came for some Christmas shopping and a break. The Chichester Inn was warm, friendly, comfy and ideal for our stay. We would definitely come back.

Lovely place to stay in Chichester
Lovely stay. Just one night to visit daughter at Uni. Very pleasant welcome from the owner. Quick checkin. Comfortable spacious room. Very nice bed. Nice old building too full of charm.

Reasonable place to stay; clean; friendly service
Convenient location for our weekend away. The room was clean and fairly comfortable though the mattress was very soft and the shower,though hot, was a bit weedy. Good breakfast on Sunday morning. Somewhat on the expensive side.

Double Charge
This Hotel gave my card details to a Company called Eviivo. That charged my card. They also charged me on arrival. This effectively meant a double charge until my funds are released back to me. I spent 4 hours trying to find out what happened. The are saying a week.minimum

Overnight Stay
This accommodation served a purpose for a pit stop on a longer trip, the cost of the room was extortionate due to festival near by which I wasn’t aware of. The Host was very welcoming, room comfortable and clean but staircase and landing were very tired and needed attention.

We received a very warm welcome from Nick (the host) upon our arrival, who even helped carry up our luggage to the first floor to our room. There was a heatwave during our stay. An electric fan and a small portable mini fridge were provided in our room, which came in very handy. The hot breakfast was cooked to order, plentiful and satisfying. We did not make use of the on-site car park on this occasion, but the space appeared large enough to accommodate several cars if needed and it is located at the back of the property. Through the car park, there is a pathway that leads you directly into the scenic and tranquil Bishop's Palace Gardens.
