From a perspective of running business meetings whilst staying in the hotel, it doesn't tick every box
Staff - brilliant, nothing is too much trouble. Any issue was quickly resolved in my favour
Bedrooms - comfortable and typical of a hotel of its quality
Meeting rooms - dated overall. Overhead projectors are a bonus, nullified to a point by not fitting HDMI connections at the same time, requiring Heath-Robinson jobs to get the cable to my laptop.
Food - pleasant and typical of a hotel of its quality
Internet - for a business focused hotel, appalling. Even the supposedly more robust conference router was unable to handle my early morning internet usage, when I was probably the only person in the hotel using it , rather than the guests router. For business usage a serious upgrade in capability is required
The proposed winter 2021 refurb programme is overdue and hopefully a massive WiFi upgrade ill be part of this.
