17-5-19 Dear Guest, I have tracked down the booking you were referring to even though you posted an anonymous review via Expedia. The process was quite simple as we have only had two £45.00 bookings from them since January 2019. The events and monies are well documented via our in house systems and cash banking. Firstly we only had Room 20 which sells at £180.00 which Mark let you have for £40.00 and £45.00 on the 5thof May. I have checked the card machines were fully functional and your booking for the Sunday was a pre-pay as you’re aware. Its common practice for the staff to put the cash moneys in their pockets and place in safe when they are on their own. The receipt Lucinda gave you was for your booing through Expedia and not the direct booking on the Saturday there was no other reason for this than that was what was on the system she must have assumed that this was all that was required. If you had asked for the Saturday night receipt she would have issued this also. I feel this could have been cleared up if you had just queried it on the Monday when you checked out instead of leaving it until some time later. The room you stayed in would have cost £360.00 you paid £85, Mark did this out of kindness. I have forwarded all the relevant information and evidence to my directors and I am quite happy to forward this on to you should you wish. Tony Hodges

The room that you booked was our executive suite and the rate you paid was very competitive compared with the same offered with in the vicinity. Good afternoon, Thank you for taking the time to review your stay. We are advertised as a vibrant Town Center Hotel so close to the numerous bars and restaurants. We are full most weekends because of it . I will pass your comments on to our housekeeping staff.

We are a Town center hotel and with that comes the vibrancy of the local facility's , most of our guests in fact book because we are so close to everything. I can only apologize about the bath plug and have spoken to housekeeping accordingly. I can however find no registered complaint about the temperature of the Bath water , may I ask did you report this to reception ? We are sorry that the experience wasn't what you expected on this occasion.

Hi Sandra, I can only apologize for the noise pollution you had to endure unfortunately I cant tell from your review which room you stayed in. I would also like to ask did you report it to our night staff who would have dealt with it instantly. I cant see in our complaints log if you brought this to our attention. We would have moved you to a quieter part of the hotel if it had been physically possible. I hope we will see you again.

Good Morning, We are going through a complete refurbishment and can only apologize that your stay with us was less than satisfactory. We have installed a complete new wifi system and replaced the broken windows when it was brought to our attention through out the building. I cant answer the comment regarding water pressure and lack of hot water as this was an anonymous review, but would like to than you for taking the time to comment.
