Clean, Comfortable & ideally situated for ferry
Nice, clean, comfortable & welcoming accommodation. Easy to find and only minutes from ferry terminal. Excellent breakfast. Hopefully, will use agaih.

Brilliant Airbnb. Lovely host, so welcoming, nothing too much trouble. Very comfy bed. Excellent breakfast. Choice of 2 pubs yards away that do very good food. I thoroughly recommend this Airbnb, and will definitely stay again when using the Rosslare ferry. Thank you Kay.

The property was lovely, the room comfortable and tidy. Our greating was friendly and so helpful. We had to be on a early ferry the next moring. The proprietor was so kind and was able to fined us a taxi that would pick us up early so we would be on time as well as made sure we would be able to get ourselves breakfast before we left. We where very happy with our stay.

Kay was there to greet us as we arrived at her stunning B&B. We were offered refreshments in the guest lounge which were greatly appreciated. Our room was spotlessly clean and comfortable and we slept well. Breakfast was excellent, made more special with Kay's homemade bread.

Really good stay. Our host was very accomodating, very friendly and gave us some good advice on what to do around the area, including food recommendation. Breakfast was very substantial and very tasty. Highest recommendation I can give

I am sorry Hazel that you did not even get inside the door of Old Orchard Lodge. when you arrived at 3pm i was home to check you in. I did miss your phone call at that time and did call you back but by 3.30. I was home by 4.30 but at that stage you were in the ferry terminal and booked to go back on the evening ferry. I am here most days to check people in from 4.30 but if i do get a call for an earlier check in i will do my upmost to assist with that request. I do hope you got home safely. Kay.

Great spot for over night before ferry or at any time for a stay in this part of the country.. friendly efficient and helpful host .. breakfast lovely.

Very comfortable with an excellent cooked breakfast. Home made cake provided by Kaye the owner on arrival. The night that we stayed she was sold out, so must be doing something right. Two good pubs less than 5 minutes walk away serving good meals too is an added bonus. 5 mins drive to ferry port makes it extremly convenient. We are booked in again the night before getting the morning ferry back to wales.

Overnight stay near Rosslare Harbour
Good location for catching the ferry from Rosslare. Harbour about 5 min journey by car. Not really walkable especially if you have luggage. It was great to find somewhere to stay close to the Ferry port who would accept dogs. My bed was very comfortable. Cup of tea and cake was much appreciated on arrival. We only stayed overnight unfortunately unable to try the breakfast as we had to leave early for our ferry. Staff very friendly.

On both occasions we enjoyed welcoming tea and cake. Our first room had the washbasin by the bed which was most inconvenient and unhealthy, though upon request on our second stay the room had the washbasin in the bathroom. Beds were both 4 ft 6 inch doubles with sprung mattresses that we found uncomfortable. Breakfast was cooked and presented nicely, but overall unlike other reviews we had read, we felt we were something of an inconvenience to the hostess!

Great location for staying night before a morning ferry and close to pubs for an evening meal and drink beforehand. As we had to leave before breakfast, lady gave us packed breakfast which was really nice. Bedroom was clean but in need of an update, and was a bit small, but fine for just one night.

Was staying overnight before catching an early ferry, Kay was an excellent host, on arrival she made fresh coffee and homemade cakes . Our room was situated on ground floor and was very comfortable. As we couldn't stay for breakfast Kay made us scones, Oatey rock cakes, fruit juice, cheese etc to take with us - thank you Kay, we certainly enjoyed them.

Brilliant B&B
Really convenient location when you arrive on the ferry. Lovely friendly welcome with tea and homemade cake. The property is in a very well kept garden where kids can play. The rooms are really comfortable and attractive, with cosy beds. The breakfast is amazing. I’m glad we are booked in to stay here on our way home next week!!

Cozy little room
We had a bit of misunderstanding about check in time, but once we were inside, it was very nice with food and drink within walking distance. There were other guests but it was quiet at night. The hostess was very nice and got us a taxi in the morning. The breakfast was very good.

Overnight stay
This B&B was rated 4 star, should be rated 3 star. Room was small, bed was comfortable but could not find a blanket, we were cold. We were on vacation for total of 30 days. This was the only B&B that we needed to be at breakfast at a set time, 8am, Felt we would be in trouble if we didn't make it on time. We set our cell phones alarms to be on time. All other B&B's gave us a range of 8-9am or 8-10am. Breakfast was tasty. Not sure we would recommend this B&B.

Excellent bed and breakfast very close to Rosslare
