A Room With a View
I really enjoyed my stay at the Westin in Whistler. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and the room was great. I particularly enjoyed the view from the window that overlooked the mountain bike trails and jumps. I highly recommend this hotel.

Terrific Ski-in Ski-out hotel
Great access to Whistler and Blackcomb gondolas. Super helpful and friendly staff. Could ask for anything more.

Put a damper on Christmas!
Would never stay with Westin LaTours again! Rooms desperately needs updating. Our room was dirty, smelled horrible, hair on the bathroom floor and bed sheets. Stove-top was covered in cooking grease. Unwashed dishes still in the dishwasher upon our arrival. Shower stall needed a good cleaning. Caulking around toilet needs to be redone. Bathroom had a horrible odour of urine. Asked front desk for another room and was told because we booked with LaTours which are privately owned rooms, there's nothing they can do for us. Would definitely book with the Westin, but NEVER Westin LaTours EVER AGAIN!! Wished I had taken photos to show you all!

Great for Thanksgivings Day weekend
We checked in and saw a card with daily activities for the family such as pumpkin carving, hot cocoa, activity rooms and movie nights. We are definitely going to come back again to the Westin for next Thanksgivings Day.

Great hotel and prime location
We went during off seasons so hotel was very empty and seemed like there was little to no staff. Some guest hogged the hot tub and broke thr rules by eating and drinking alcohol which was annoying esp. Because no one from the hotel would say anything. The hotel itself was very nice and we enjoyed our stay.

Very clean, nice and large apartments.
The size of the apartment was a very nice surprise. Room came with balcony which was also another pleasant surprise. Two thumbs up.

Our stay at the Westin
We had a lovely stay at the Westin. The hotel was positioned very well, close to the gondolas and numerous restaurants and cafés. The room was spacious and had a kitchenette area with sink, dishwasher and cooktop. The bed was extremely comfortable as in all Westin hotels. We had breakfast at the hotel one morning and the food quality was very good, albeit pricey. The stay exceeded our expectations and I wished we could have stayed longer. Would definitely stay again.

Horrible experience: LaTours=TimeShare
We have a small baby and carried a portable crib with us. The bedroom in the suite we booked was extremely tiny - so tiny that we couldn't even fit a crib in it. We contacted the hotel, but they couldn't resolve the situation because this was a TIME SHARE. This was the very first time we found out that we had booked a TIME SHARE through Expedia, which was not indicated on the listing at any point. With time shares, you can't change the room if something is wrong, simply because the hotel is not the one giving you the booking for the room.

Rocky checkin, left happy.
When we first checked into the hotel at 4 pm, we discovered that our hotel room was not cleaned. That was a disappointment and an annoyance as we had made reservations at a spa and restaurant for that evening and we were not sure that we would be able to make that appointment. We went to our front desk clerk, Rachael, and informed her of the situation. She listened to our concerns and was very apologetic. She took care of the situation right away and gave us some drink comps while we waited for our room to be cleaned. When the room was not cleaned in a timely manner, she upgraded our room with the approval of her manager. She even sent a bottle of wine when she discovered that my husband and I were celebrating a milestone anniversary. Even though the situation was not ideal, we felt valued as guests due to Rachael's prompt attention. We will be visiting the Whistler Westin in the future. I hope Rachael's manager gives her recognition for handling this situation so well!

Nice hotel very rude front desk staff
The front desk would not check in our family because they could not locate our booking from expedia even though we had our email confirmation. They made us contact expedia who then had to contact the hotel staff separately while we waited in the lobby. The staff refused to call Expedia themselves. The staff would not believe us and did not take responsibility for the mix up. We were very frustrated. The Manager stated it was not their fault and when asked who's fault it was he insinuated it was our. Terrible service!

Centrally located but not worth the money
We found the hotel needs a refresh, we paid a pretty penny for the room and actually expected a whole lot more. There were hardly any amenities in the bathroom (shower, conditioner and soap) which we found to be incredibly cheap and the bathroom was not clean. Having said that, this hotel is centrally placed and the in-hotel restaurant is excellent. The breakfast cost is abhorrently priced for what you get but that could be a function of where this hotel is. Overall I would not choose to stay at this hotel again.

Terrible check-in. Room tired and a bit grubby.
You can get MUCH better in Whistler for your money. Housekeeping very, very slow. Expensive wifi.

Enjoyable and convenient
Nice hotel that is located very close to lifts and the village. There is a ski rental shop located on premises and, although it might be pricier than others in the area and they had a good selection of demos. And, they refunded the price of one day's rental after told them we went snowmobiling for a day. Breakfast at the in-house restaurant, Grille and Vine, was very good, but also very expensive. We dined at the several excellent (and pricey) restaurants in the area, but we could have prepared our own meals in the well designed kitchenette in our room if we were so inclined. The only thing lacking was an outdoor lounge with a fireplace.

Convinient for family
Satisfied with all facilities to stay with my family. Few steps to the gondola. Very cozy & nice hotel with kitchenette. Fire place, outdoor pool, balcony with nice view.
