We had booked two rooms through Hotel.com however when we arrived at the Resort they were unable to pick up the booking. We were travelling with family and wanted both rooms to be next to each other for convenience. Only one room was booked and was told by the reception they are fully booked and placed us in a ''honeymoon suite'' at first which was not what we had booked. According to the restaurant manager (Charl ) the ''honeymoon suite is not even supposed to be used as it is supposed to be under renovation. We could literally feel the springs on the bed that's how bad it was. We then went back to reception to ask for another room , the guy from reception (Pier ) told us we must just make do with that room.We then were given two options of rooms to choose from however yet again these rooms are their back up rooms which are not in very good condition and should not even be let out for guests. The phone didn't work , the shower had no pressure. The room was not cleaned, spider webs everywhere. Empty shampoo, lotion bottles where left behind. The bedding and the bed was not cleaned. The curtains were dirty with stains. The lighting was so very poor. Very poor service and very disappointing. We travelled from far to get pushed around and told we must just make do.
