This courtyard needs to be updated. Worst courtyard I have ever been in. Holiday inn Express right beside it is much nicer. I'm a Marriott hotels fan but this one is ancient and requires a very large overhaul. Just being honest. Check-in and employees were great.

The room I had was very musty (it was on the bottom floor). I've stayed at this property before and didn't have that issue.

It rained, which limited out of room activities for one day, but apparently rain causes the TV to go out. No TV for 4-5 hours after rain ended. TV's were old and did not allow for streaming Netflix etc.

Two words: bed bugs! Discovered them late at night, requested a new room; they then tried to move me to a room right across the hall, which i refused, and requested to be on an entirely different floor. New room had a faulty lock that required me to get the key reset just about every time I went back in my room, which was beyond annoying. One manager took only $100.00 off of my first night, the other, head manager, at checkout, assured me he’d contact me after eco lab came out and inspected the property, told me I’d hear back about a week after my stay, which was in October btw, never heard anything nor were ANY of my calls to them returned. Very disappointing stay to say the least. Requested a full refund, which the property denied! Overall lack of customer service, and again, bed bugs! I will never stay here again, stay at your own risk.

First time staying at this hotel - while my wife and I visited Christmas Town at Busch Gardens, the staff was very nice! Excellent customer service, the room was clean, and the breakfast was excellent. I highly recommended to anyone visiting Williamsburg, to stay at this hotel! 10/10 recommend, thank you!

Clean , friendly, and affordable
My family and I had a one night stay. Check in was fast and friendly, the room seemed clean. The Starbucks cafe area in the lobby was appreciated by my wife. The cost was half of that of other hotels on McClaws Circle, and just as nice. I think we have stayed at all of them at one time or another.

I made a reservation for a room for two adults and two children nearly a month before our scheduled trip. However, upon arriving at the hotel, I was shockingly denied check-in. As per management, the hotel was overbooked. I find this situation deeply concerning, especially given that I had made the reservation well in advance and was traveling with two young children.The receptionist's demeanor during this ordeal was notably rude, and there was no apology extended for the inconvenience caused.

Great property and extremely clean rooms. The young lady working the bistro was wonderful and so friendly. The only minor flaw was that the hot tub in the pool area was very dirty and discouraged me from utilizing it. Overall, it was a great stay and very clean.

Worms not included
Checked in and the polite desk agent did not realize I had booked thru a 3rd party so she was double charging me. We were asked if we wanted 1st or 2nd floor and choose 1st. Walking down construction hallway to room (loud) and musty smell from sanding, arrived at room and the exit door that was adjacent to us was out of order. TV in room was out of order and thermostat on wall not working. Told by maintenance that problems with things like this. Pool had a worm in it. Jaquezzi had objects floating. Told staff next day. Asked what room we were and when we told them said that we should have never been put in that room as it was out of service and had not been prepared for guests. Does this mean it was dirty. Hmmmm. We were on way out so opted to just stay put. asked to extend stay on Saturday and told they were sold out. Not very friendly. If room was never to be booked - how can it not be available for one more day. Only positive was the Bistro girl who worked am and pm was amazing. very friendly. Cannot believet his was a Marriott.

The staff was courteous, room was clean and well kept. My kids and husband enjoyed the pool/hot tub while waiting for local attractions to open. Will be booking here again and recommend to anyone coming to the area.

Room was okay bed was kind of uncomfortable and pillows were not great. Shower the curtain barely made it to the lip of the tub causing water to leak all over and the showere was very slippery the first time we used it. Very limited channels on TV, not a big issue but for an extended stay maybe bring a laptop to stream a show. We stayed 3 of the 4 days we booked. We left early due to only receiving room service one day we were there and the key card entry was horrible. Ended up going back to front desk 4 times during our stay due to key not working and unable to sleep another night on the uncomfortable bed. Wife's complaints were not enough light by the sink.area for getting ready to go out and.tempurature in room was hard to maintain, either too hot or too cold no happy medium. If you only stopping in for one night it's an okay place, any more than that I would recommend a different place.

Lobby is great, everything else goes steadily down
I had reserved a double queen room, but none were available, making sleeping arrangements uncomfortable to say the least. We chose this hotel even though it didn't have breakfast provided because it DID have a pool with a hot tub. The hot tub was like cold bathwater, and it was DISGUSTING. There was green mildew everywhere (that chipped off if it was touched), a large amount of hairballs and debris floating in it. The cost of breakfast was ABSURD and we definitely walked away annoyed. I will not stay here again for sure.

History visit
Check in was good. The recommend Berrets restaurant was good. Back in room ice machine didn't work do we were brought ice. Second night ice brought to us. Third night we were told there weren't bags for the ice to be brought to us. We were told to go to another machine on a different floor. What happened? Laziness? Untrained??

Stayed here for a family fun weekend . Our room was moldy both my daughter and I suffer a mold allergy and the room definitely had mold. The bathroom light went out while there and the indoor pool was meh . The whirlpool had black stuff floating in it. When we brought all this to the attention of the the staff they just said sorry . Definitely will stay elsewhere next time

The front desk staff was very welcoming and professional. I checked in and soon discovered a problem with the room. I went back to the front desk and Tyrell was great! He immediately switched rooms for me, apologized for the inconvenience and offered a complimentary breakfast. He didn't make any excuses or pass the problem to someone else. He just took care of if. And he had a great attitude during the entire process. I really appreciated it.

Hotel needs a major update
Not a great experience. The curtains in the room were ripped and torn. We found some other persons dirty clothes left behind under one of the beds in our hotel room. The room’s definitely need to be update. Carpets were stained too. Very disappointed.

Stayed for two days and one of the two elevators was broken and since the elevator was small it could barely handle four people at a time. So taking the stairs was the only option. I was thought there was a complimentary breakfast? No they had a coffee bar that you payed top price for everything. Highly disappointed, payed a lot to stay there just thought I would get more.
